My family and I went there for vacation, and the food was great overall. However, our server, Angie, smelled strongly of alcohol and appeared to be drunk. She even brought us the wrong order and then made us wait a long time for the correct one because she was drinking at the bar with another server. The service was horrible.

I would’ve give the manager of this location a -0 stars, very bad costumer service they can’t even doble check the orders when ordering for pick up to make sure it’s right I was on my lunch break the platter sucks without rice and beans, I called and the manager was very rude to me. I’ll never ever go back again!!! I was a regular costumer .

Strictly Iced Cafe Con Leche and Pavo Sandwiches. Simple, meaty, fresh and not a mess when you get to eating it. The price is good for the quality and taste. Must try the two.

The other night I went to Cafecito for a late night dinner with my wife and we had an unforgettable experience. What I first appreciated was the beautiful interior decoration and spacious seating area. We were greeted and served by Eduardo, he was a very polite young man and more than accommodating throughout the evening. My partner and I shared the Mojo Shrimp and Ropa Vieja plates and then had wedding cookies for dessert. Everything was out-of-this-world delicious. Like seriously....so good. I can't give enough praise to this location, and for Eduardo for making this an amazing experience for us. I will be back and would highly recommend!!

This place has some unique Latin food thats fairly priced and good variety. Its close to the water and zoo and has a nice and simple outdoor eating area. Good food to get after a day out. They also have done salsa nights here which are fun.

Cafecito used to be magical. This location is now a mess - all tables sit dirty and sticky. Wait for coffee is 20 minutes while baristas talk to their friends and drink on the job. Coffee is only filled half way full giving bad value. Prices have been raised 50% over the past 2 years. Overall would not recommend anymore. The Streeterville location and south loop location are still excellent.

I have been coming here since 2022 and I always get treated like family! Alberto is the person with drive, management material, he runs that place so well.
I completely love his personality!
I’ve had the breakfast sandwiches before school. And I also bring my partner for brunch.
I love the Cuban pastelitos!
