Staying at the Westin and Jim stepped out to grab takeout! He was there just before it opened so no waiting! El Huevon sandwich was so tasty! The chimmichuri gave it extra ‘sabor’! A great option for a quick and delicious vegan breakfast in the Gold Coast!
Super delish! GuavaQ chicken platter was very flavorful.
I loved this place. They have dine in and take out and it’s a no fuss restaurant that plays nice music. We came because they have standard breakfast fare and Cuban inspired dishes and an extensive vegan menu. They have all sorts of vegetarian options that were AMAZING. Prices were extremely reasonable too. Will return!

Food and coffee was absolutely amazing and a highlight of our visit to Chicago. Only lackluster thing was the inattentive service when walking in we had to walk up to the cashier which finally told us to pick a booth and a server came to help us after. It wasn’t a major issue though just felt awkward walking in. Other than that the coffee was amazing, the cevito sandwich is great and the jerk chicken sandwich was great also!

This Cuban food fare is extremely nice..Definitely a must visit and is reasonably priced. Small place with a decent ambience, but we returned happy after the meal and that's what mattered. Definitely do order if you love coffee...it's sweet, but bold .

Cozy setting near the Museum of Contemporary Art and John Hancock building removed from all the touristy stuff. Service was fast and friendly with delicious food. I ate the Chivito sandwich (recommended by our waitress) and drank the champagne of beers, which lead to just a lovely Wednesday afternoon. I look forward to go back whenever I'm in the area.
Kid-friendliness: We didn't see a kids menu, but the place was very nice to our kids. They ordered el Gringo (scrambled eggs, toast with bacon and an egg & cheese sandwich. Neither kid finished their meal so I had an epic dad lunch.
