Great food. However, the tip options they show you on the machine are based on the total, not the subtotal, which is shady. Also, all the plates are plastic, which are a microplastic risk, especially when you're griding metal forks and knives into them.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Wait staff needs training on how to properly treat customers or they need to be fired. Unpleasant experience from seating down to getting our check, 0% tip left

Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. I didn’t want to pull the race card but it was very clear that I was treated differently compared to others. It took over 10 minutes for someone to take my order and the lady behind the bar made eye contact with me, poured herself some water and turned her back to me. I assumed maybe she’s just the bartender, but no a group or 3 comes in and she immediately jumps to take their order. I will never be back to this establishment. To the manager everything can be verified via camera. To the servers, never assume someone won’t tip because of how they look because I’m sure that’s what this was all about.

So good. I enjoy the sandwiches, the menu has a variety of items. Service is A+, they are willing to take the onions of the ceviche salad, lol. I will be back for more.

I came because I was craving hot chocolate but also wanted a good meal - this place was great. Staff was extremely kind. Cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Ropa Vieja, and the flavor was good - i recommend it for someone who is sensitive to strong flavors. The hot chocolate hit the spot, rich and flavorful. Will definitely visit again.

A really cool Cuban cafe in a cool part of the city. They have a take out counter to the left when you first get in plus a decent sized seating area for that part of town. There’s also a bar in the back to the right when you walk in.

Food was good. I had the chicken chipotle sandwich and my wife had the “ropa vieja sandwich” and we both had the cafe con lecha. The sandwiches were delicious and the cafe con lecha was sweet so keep that in mind not to add more sugar.

The atmosphere is modern and cozy with an attentive staff. We ended up there after visiting the Contemporary Art Museum so I Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite.

The food here is good, with a lot of selection. It is in a convenient location for many people, and in an area with few options. The only trouble is it takes a very long time whether you are doing sit down service or takeout.

Cubano sandwich is really delicious and I LOVE the coffee here! The seating is very limited and it gets busy at noon so even though the service is quick, still be prepared for a long line.

This place has the rudest employees and the worst customer service ever. You walk in and they stand in a circle talking and don’t acknowledge you . They make you wait until they are done with their conversation. Love the food but I would rather be treated like a paying customer rather than a burden!

We have gone to Cafecito for years, but have always visited the location on Congress Pkwy in the past. Last we were there, an employee there recommended the location on Chestnut to us, and this location did not disappoint. We love to order the Ropa Vieja , Chivito pressed sandwich and Vegan Vaca Frita plate. Amazing food. We also love their iced cafe con leche. We walk to this location from the Red Line Chicago station and as long as the weather is nice, it's a wonderful walk.
