Only café inside AIC and a nice place to rest inside the museum.

Come here every time I’m at the museum. The café sits on the second floor overlooking one of the galleries, so you get a nice view. To be honest, food and drinks aren’t serious here at all, but it’s just great being able to pause and relax somewhere inside the museum, especially since there aren’t many places to sit when you’re walking around.
Stopped by Caffè Moderno at the Art Institute for a quick bite. Grabbed a Caffè Cubano and a squash soup. Coffee had a nice cinnamon kick, and the soup was surprisingly hearty. Prices are a bit steep, but it's expected for a museum café. Limited seating and can get crowded, but the staff was friendly. Solid spot for a quick refuel during museum visits.
If you’re in the Loop and need a chill spot to grab a coffee, Caffè Moderno is the move. I popped in for a quick break and got a flat white and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was smooth, not too bitter, and exactly what I needed to power through my day. The sandwich had fresh ingredients and was loaded with flavor – super satisfying. I spent about $12, which is a great deal for the quality. The vibe is cozy and modern, with friendly baristas who really know their coffee....
