The food is amazing ? but even better is the atmosphere and service. Our waiter was great and very attentive. The price is actually very well priced, I'm used to seeing 3 tacos go for 16 dollars everywhere now, but here they were 12 dollars. We ended up ordering the kilo, which was 60 dollars, but it fed 4 of us, and we still had some left. The horchata is very, very good, which is hard to find nowadays, and the lemonade is freshly made. As a big fan of rice, I can say that I definitely approve of it ? highly recommend this place.Parking: You have to park on the street and there is a meter to pay

Dined in with a couple of buddies of mine and upon walking into Cantón Regio, the decor and atmosphere of the place hits you with a welcome home feeling. Be prepared for an hour or so wait if you're planning to dine in after 3pm on a Saturday. The place was packed! Guests that were dining in with a party of 5 or more waiting to be seated were standing or sitting on the stairs that lead up to another dining area. For some reason they weren't seating people upstairs, but there was people up there. The waiter was very attentive I loved the service, our food came out in a timely manner despite the place being so packed. The salsa was bland didn't have much flavor

Food was AMAZING & service was nice. Don’t skip the tres leches!
Food was OK but the service was outstanding. Nice atmosphere, a little tight in there they definitely try and cram as many people in as possible. We tried the arrachera and half chicken. Chicken was dry. Steak was OK, only some pieces were a little tough. If we're in the area again I would give it another try.

Is very close to North of Mexico food, loved it and
We came to Pilsen from downtown Chicago on the L Line. As soon as we entered, the ambience of the Cantón Regio blew us away. Really cozy. The service wasn't the fastest, but it was very good and all requests were fulfilled. The food is authentic Mexican and very cheap by US standards. My half chicken with bean paste, onions and rice cost USD12. There were nachos with two dips and a small bowl of homemade chicken soup. Fresh tacos are also roasted right in the middle of the store. An experience that I can only recommend.

I have been to this place before, but I will not be going back here ever again. Food was terrible full of grease and over cooked. When we ask for a manager Sebastian was arguing blaming us for not complaining earlier. And try to make s speak in a language we did not start to dialogue with him. He blamed us we had ate most of the food and did not complaint until the end after we ate a substantial part of the meal. I will upload pictures shortly of one of the meals. Please do not eat at this place Steaks are over cooked, Management by Sebastian is horrible.

I don't usually complain but I had been to this place before. I have never had a bad experience until now. The food was very bad. I ordered a flank steak, they served it to me at a different price than the one I ordered. I ordered a ribeye and you couldn't eat it because it was overcooked and it was too fatty. When the manager came Sebastian does not have any professionalism when talking to clients. He wanted to talk to me in another language than what he was talking about. And he wanted to tell me that none of my complaints were true and that I had eaten most of my plate. And his way of trying to fix the problem was to argue with me and not listen. I don't recommend you go to this place. The meats are very bad and the service from Sebastian the Manager is very bad, he does not know how to serve the clientele.
