Cantina Rosa is an amazing experience. The cocktails are the best in the city, the ambiance is beautiful (ask for a cozy booth if possible) and the music is so fun! Our server was so knowledgeable and helped guide our experience and although it's a cocktail bar, we did order some of the bites and wow, they were some of the best Mexican food we've tried! Chef Chuy is very talented! We'll be back for sure - perfect escape during this cold winter in Chicago.

We loved Cantina Rosa! This was our first visit mostly because we had a baby this past year and haven't had the time. What a wonderful place. The ambience was very cozy and had a really great vibe. The food was excellent, we had the lamb dish and it was fantastic! Also the drinks were so good. We drank too much lol

It's a fabulous spot with delicious food and wonderful service. The cocktails, while delicious, seemed quite short and very expensive. Even the mock tails were crazy priced... One of us ordered a virgin margarita which wasn't even house made but came in a small can and it was close to $20.

Yo!!!! The food, the drinks, the vibe, the staff, the music!!! We were visiting from KY and have been talking about it ever since. We had the best lamb and empanadas. You can tell that every choice made in this restaurant was thought through with great intention. Cant wait to go back!!! If you're a foodie, go! Forgot to mention, our waiter, cannot remember his name, he had beautiful locs, but he was a joy and gave us great recommendations!!!!

What a beautiful elegant space and gorgeous drinks that taste like heaven! The margarita clarita was out of this world. And botanas are so high class- from empanadas to the shrimp aqua chile. I could’ve stayed forever if it wasn’t a weeknight. @chicagopescetarian

Our reserved table was given to a large group & we were seated at the bar, which wouldn't have been an issue except we were basically ignored. Then upon receiving our check, we were charged for items we did not order. The threatening reservation “reminder” call is completely off putting & not welcoming, especially when our table wasn't even saved. The guac was fair, the drinks average & the service was non-existent—our bartender was like a deer in the headlights. Sadly, the interior design & earthenware drinking vessel were the only stars of the night. The staff could benefit from basic hospitality training. Not recommended.
