A hidden gem of a chinese bakery in Bridgeport/McKinley area. They have a great variety of Cantonese buns and other pastries. The food reminds me of how real old school Cantonese buns should taste. Better than the big bakeries in Chinatown. These are fresh and taste like they are made with quality ingredients. The prices are reasonable and cheap compared to the big names in Chinatown. Highly recommend you give them a try. Seating is limited to 4 window counters. Cash is preferred but credit cards requires 4% transaction fee.

It’s the best Chinese bakery in the area by means a lot better than the ones in Chinatown. Everything here is 100% fresh, 100% quality bread.

This bakery is such a gem!! I almost don’t wanna post this review bc I feel like it will become mainstream but this place really does deserve the praise and the business. I am Hispanic and going to an Asian bakery was daunting for me. Not knowing what everything was or how it would taste. But I walked in and the woman behind the counter was really kind and took her time to explain what everything was. She made recommendations and as we spoke, the young man who works there brought more stuff to the display. Letting me know just how fresh everything was made. During conversation, I learned that this was a family business locally owned. Both the mother and father as well as the son run it and it runs smoothly. After answering all my questions, I had a mountain of pastries ready to pay for. To my surprise, one big box came out to $23. I was shocked. I’m used to paying upwards of $40 for the amount of stuff I got. I’ve been going back at least once every weekend. And sometimes when I’m starving and need a quick snack, I’ll pop by and get a curry bun. This is a great bakery and their customer service is top tier!

Excellent bakery. I was a frequent customer when I lived in the area. I still make the drive down there from time to time for their buns.

I have tried a few places for egg tarts. This was my first one and it gave me the impression that all egg tarts are made equal but this is the only place I truly enjoy them. The people are nice too.
