Chef wasn’t there so no biscuits. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, only five other people dining. Wait staff was soliciting candy sales. I wouldn’t go back for breakfast and would give it serious thoughts about going for lunch/dinner.

Food was made fresh and hot.The chicken was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had,the eggs had a little to much garlic but wasn’t nasty.Customer service was ok the waitress should come refill beverages and to check if everything ok at least once or twice, other than that it was a good

The food is super horrible. They did not serve fresh hot food, everything was processed. The muffins was so cold and hard if you throw it against the windows would bust. The fish is not fresh it is fish out the box that they deep fried and served, the chicken was fried so hard you couldn't eat it. The greens came out the can and was overly nasty, the string beans also came out the can. The macaroni was so cold and nasty it tasted as if it came out the box and made with powder cheese. The sweet potatoes were not sweet at all. The waiter placed a dirty pitcher of water on one patron table and they washed they hands in it as well as their utensils and another party came in and the waiter took that very same pitcher of contaminated water an gave it to the patrons who had entered talk about NASTY. AND GROSS. The Food Network came and REVAMPED this place and REVAMPED the menu and on a serious note, they need to shut this place down. It's time for the owner to retire and pass the torch to some younger chefs who can turn this restaurant around or simply shut it down because EVERYTHING IS NASTY. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

The dressing was definitely made with jiffy mix .We had a party of approx 18. We decided to do the family feast which included baked chicken, fried chicken, fried fish, green beans, greens, Mac and cheese, corn muffins and dressing. Peach cobbler for desert. Was not worth the money. You can tell the food was previously cooked and just rewarmed. Chicken was not cooked all the way though. Green beans had no seasoning. The Mac and cheese was actually the only thing I’d give a 4/5 on.They ended up charging the card more than what they should’ve and told us they couldn’t reverse it.The atmosphere was nice and quiet… there was nobody there. Customer service was ok but I definitely would not be going back there. And did I mention the dressing was made with jiffy mix! Or they put sugar in it. Either way it’s a hard no for me.Oh and the peach cobbler looked like slop and was not appetizing at all

When do you want extra? AT Josephine's Southern Cooking Restaurant I was served five wings, one waffle, and scrambled eggs with cheese. Also, I had a glass of water and a glass of cranberry juice. Uhmm. Ms. Josephine is a catchy cashier, door attendant, and Southern cook with a flair of etiquette. I enjoyed the calm and soothing restaurant, and food. With light entertainment, and an embellish designer look, you will enjoy your meal. Always speak to "Johnny," I know I wanted to and have a great time. Thank you, Ms. Josephine from Josephine's Southern Cooking Restaurant.Dietary restrictions: I wanted a dish that gave me a good feeling about eating, and then spiritual fasting.

Worth the drive - looking for soul food on a Sunday, look no further. Mother Wade had amazing Liver and Onions and the mac/cheese hit the spot. Food came out fast and hot. The food is good for the stomach and the soul. If you luck up and Mother Wade is there, you've struck gold. It feels like you stopped by to visit your grandmother after church..... love her! I'm going back to try the smothered pork chops
