I had the worst experience today at this restaurant because of this so unprofessional old server named Christiano C. He took our order when we arrived around 1:15 pm and came back again after 50 mins to ask us about our order because he forgot to place it in the first place without a single apology. Instead, he kept saying that the order was placed already and he needed to check on it and kept asking what we ordered. Our food did not arrive until after an hour and 40 minutes of waiting and I had to extend my parking for one more hour. When we asked him to speak with the manager, he kept speaking in Italian while going and pointing with his hand angrily. I went to ask for the restroom and this waiter Christiano pointed to towards the restroom and said the F word and speaking in Italian while I was passing him which was super unprofessional. He kept giving us looks and kept cursing and saying the F word while he walked next to our table. I provided pics of when our order was placed and the time of when we arrived. Supervisor Marco gave us a discount and promised he’ll mail us a gift card. The other staff seem to be friendly but definitely not Christiano.

Really enjoyed this place. Went for restaurant week so the menu was slightly different, but everything we had was delicious. The best was the entree, the New York strip steak, which was perfectly cooked. Was a really solid steak considering the price. The vodka rigatoni was really good but i don’t think I could eat a whole dish of it. The tiramisu as a dessert was delicious but would try the chocolate cake next time, saw it come out and had like 7 layers. Would absolutely come back.

Very elegant place to eat, food was very good, next time in Chicago would eat there again for sure.
The place it’s disgusting and no sanitation it’s used. The bathrooms are disgusting as well. If you wanna go there for food portions and no taste in food, feel free to go! I threw up all night after I ate there because their food made me sick! Still waiting for a manager to call me. I will be writing at the corporate to see if they care , just like the restaurant staff does.

I recently dined here and was UNFORTUNATELY \ disappointed with the service provided by the SERVER. The server was rude and unprofessional, which made for an unpleasant dining experience. Additionally, the wait for our food was extremely long and the delay was compounded by the slow service of our drinks, including a mimosa that took over 30 minutes to arrive.
When it came time to pay the bill, we decided to split it, which seemed to upset the server even further. He made a remark indicating that he knew the service was going to be subpar from the start because we asked to split the bill. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior for someone in the service industry.
I understand that servers rely on tips to make a living, but it was disappointing to see that our tip was not appreciated, especially considering the poor service we received. To make matters worse, the server seemed to have a bias against us as students, which is unacceptable and discriminatory.
In conclusion, I was very disappointed with my dining experience at your restaurant and would not recommend it to others based on the service provided by this server. I hope that in the future, your restaurant will provide better training and support for your staff to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
Server literally told us when we were about to leave from the table:"I knew this was going to go this way when you asked to split the mimosas"

A friend took me out to Carmines for a birthday dinner and I literally received the worst service ever last week! The waiter walked past our table to serve other tables and didn't even check on us all night. It was a Wednesday night and not busy at all. I had to literally keep calling other waiters from other tables to assist us. I have been here a handful of times and consider myself a restaurant connoisseur when it comes to dining around Chicago and I felt totally disrespected. Yet I still gave the guy a 20 dollar tip. I don't think ill be coming back and I'll find another good place to bring my friends and family. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED because this was one of my favorite places...smh. I gave 2 stars because of the food which was amazing and the portions
