Ordered a catering spread for 50 people and the service went above and beyond. When I arrived, they had just run out of Carnitas, but after a short 20-minute wait, they came through and even added an extra portion of Carnitas. The food was amazing and the team was incredibly accommodating. A true neighborhood staple that always delivers.

Carnitas by the pound. Delicious! Some unique meat cuts too. Fresh tortillas. Very friendly and attentive service. Great salsa on the table and traditional chicharrones.

Classic old school, authentic Mexican food carnitas are awesome. I would highly recommend showing up early though.

My husband and I always come here to eat carnitas! One of our favorite spots to dine in but I gave them a 3 star rating because this is one of the few times we come and they say they don’t have carnitas. How are you a restaurant that serves mainly carnitas and you don’t have any 2 hours before closing? So for two hours they are supposed to turn away business. Unfortunate.

And again! Im only a fan of the tacos but this time that I went, The lady behind the counter servicing the food had a real bad attitude. She was talking soft and everyone was loud, it's a restaurant, I asked her to repeat herself and immediately she rolled her eyes and still spoke softly so again I asked her to repeat herself and she rolled her eyes and walked away and the other lady said what she couldn't.. it's a shame because the tacos are great and I typically drive 20 minutes to get here but service has to be superior..every penny counts and they just lost a customer.. I was always on the fence about traveling 20 minutes to get here but she made made decision for me..

Beat place in Chicago for carnitas and menudo. Fresh tortias and cilantro with onion's. friendly service in a simple dining setting. The parking lot is tight to get in and out of.
