An A+ night as always! Heather was great at giving us attention while also giving us the space to enjoy our evening.
Food was fantastic!! Wait staff was great. Atmosphere was perfect for what we were looking for.
Been eating at Carson's for 40 plus years. It is so good! Same quality as it has always been . Their ribs do not fall off the bone but are so good . I don't mind that ! This is how it has always been there ! Their garbage salad is really good ( romaine lettuce , bacon , tomatoes , egg, hearts of palm and artichokes) . Always get this salad too. We split it 3 ways that is how big it is . Ordered the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. We always stop here when we visit the city !
Dan was an awesome waiter. His spontaneity and attentiveness made us feel very welcome. The vibe on Monday night was nice and quiet for us. We came here two years ago for the first time, and the place was as good as we remembered. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Chicago. Thanks, Dan?
We dissed deep dish pizza and decided on BBQ. We were a party of 9, 2 birthdays, a 7 year old and loved everything. We decided to make this our annual dinner place. We go once a year to a Notre Dame football game and come from New Jersey and Virginia. This Is a great place to eat! The prices are comfortable!

Delicious - was first time back here since they moved to the new location, and everything was still awesome. Had ribs, au gratins and the slaw - my son was with me for his first visit and it was excellent, not too crowded at lunch. The gentleman who waited on us was very nice and attentive too. Can't wait to get back!

For a birthday celebration the ambience was perfect for a relaxing evening out at Carson's ribs prime steaks & famous barbecue however the food and service was lousy, our waiter seem to have no knowledge of the food on the menu he had no recommendations to offer at less that's the impression he gave out. My party of 6 ordered the full slab ribs which was dry and over cooked au gratin potatoes, blacken salmon, half barbecue chicken, rib tips which we never got the waiter claim we did not order them, corn bread and salad. My overall first time experience at this restaurant is a ONE & DONE!

It was our first time there and the food and service was amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff gave us a treat at the end of the meal. Highly recommended.

I had such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. From the appetizers to the main course everything was cooked to perfection. One of my favorite appetizers I look forward to is the Shrimp dejonghe it is sooo delicious, every single bite. The servers were very attentive to our needs and made it an experience. The ambiance was a vibe. Can't wait to come back !
Carson's is still the place to go for ribs. They also have lots of choices for other dishes, and they have great sides. The service is very attentive, and all the staff make you feel welcome. We had Kevin as our server and he was excellent.
Jose anticipated our every request and was a delightful waiter. The pork chop was every bit as good as I remembered from when it was my staple during chemo and nothing agreed with me. So very happy to be back at Carson's.
American BBQ restaurant located near Navy Pier. We tried brisket and ribs, the ribs were really good, brisket is moist but we'd prefer to have sauce on the side. The combo portion is well priced for the price. Also tried chargrilled shrimp but found the shrimp lacking freshness. Didn't know things could go so wrong when we asked to heat up the shrimp dish: the dish came back with no sauce, only bare veggies and shrimp! We asked to heat up as there was garlic oil sauce to dip our bread. We explained to the waiter who then came back again with a "sauce" which we later realized it's some kind of vinaigrette ? Overall service and food was good but this incident just show how bad the service is.
