The service was ok and the food was so salty that I couldn't eat it. My husband didn't enjoy his food either. Chicago has some really great Mexican restaurants so we will probably not come back.
This place is super cool and chill. We stopped for drinks before the Bulls game tonight. Tony was are bartender and he is an absolute rock star. His drinks were made perfectly and his suggestion on a sipping tequila blew my mind. We did have chips and salsa. Chips were served warm which I absolutely appreciate. Salsa was ok. Coming back for steak, Tony’s suggestion.
Overall Casa Tequila is a very nice place to dine. I had one of the best steaks I ever had in my life. Astetically, the decor is warm and vibrant and gives a welcoming feeling. With that said, we waiting 7 minutes at the door with out any greeting from the hostess or staff. They were probably at 50% capacity at this time. We had to get the bartenders attention and they were so nonchalant and told us to wait for the hostess. Hostess came, no greeting just took us to a table. But...
