Wine was good (over priced), service was SLOW, and food was super salty. Left still hungry and disappointed I spent so much money on a small, salty, unfulfilling meal

wine was decent, although overpriced. was excited for the wine tasting wednesdays but apparently they weren’t doing it on this day? service was irritatingly slow, and food was so salty it was practically inedible (had the carbonara). left extremely disappointed and still quite hungry. wouldn’t recommend (although the vibes are cute).

Went on St Patrick's Day, early afternoon. Place was deserted save for a loud drunk group of 3. Ordered bread w herbs. Bread was supermarket quality. Herbs were not identifiable. Maybe parsley and truffle flakes? Ordered Arancini. Presentation was fine. Server said it would not contain meat but it came with meat sauce on the bottom. Risotto on the inside looked and tasted more like yellow rice. That was $16. Disappointing. Ordered Cappriciosa pizza. Hardly any artichokes. Mostly green pimento olives and mushrooms. Cheese looked like it was microwaved on, which is a cardinal sin with pizza. See picture. I think this was $19. Caught them on a bad day I guess.

Pasta was undercooked, service was bad. Flatbread “pizza” was disgusting. Forgot one of our meals and had to wait for it after everyone else had already eaten. The gin peach drink was delicious though! Would not go again.

Okay, I never leave restaurant reviews but this place calls for the highest praise. My partner and I tried Casati's for the first time on our anniversary. First of all, atmosphere is on point 10/10 cozy, intimate, pretty. They asked up front before even seating us if we needed a vegan menu (as a vegan myself, this almost NEVER happens) and even pointed out things that couldn't be made vegan without me having to ask. Then, our server was incredible starting with the sharing of the story of restaurant's origins. And then proceeded to hype up the vegan options (they said "they go hard on the vegan food here." That's all I needed to hear). We ordered the vegan Flatbread and truffle fries which were amazing. Our server recommended an incredible wine. They timed all the courses perfectly and cleared away our empty plates with some kind magical precision. And then the entree... my gawd. My partner ordered the pizza that had prosciuitto and burrata. He loves pizza and said he was pretty sure it was the best pizza he's ever had. I ordered the vegan melanzane and it was divine. My partner had secretly mentioned to our server that we were celebrating our anniversary and so at the end of our meal, they brought us some vegan chocolate cake (with a side of Gelato for my partner) with a gorgeous sparkler (and didn't charge us). It was a unforgettable experience and we can't wait to go back!

Happy early birthday to my mother in law. We went shopping at the New Balance store and then out for dinner. The staff was great with helping us surprise her with a special sweet treat. Thanks guys!!
