I was walking past and saw their happy hour sign and decided to stop in for some drinks with my husband. Shout out to Nate the bartender who made the experience 10x better! Also got to talk to Alexis, both super funny and great to chat with about sports! Got a little hungry so hubby ordered short ribs and I got a chicken sandwich both were amazing and delicious. 10/10 love the dim lights and cute furniture. Will be returning soon!

This is a very quaint place to eat and have fantastic drinks. My bartender Nate was absolutely GREAT!!! very attentive and made sure my husband and I were ok. And Nate knows how to make a great drink. Miguel was also great to us. The food was superb and I definitely recommend people to stop by if they are staying at the hotel or passing by.

Was working from home today and around 330pm I decided to take a walk to try a new restaurant in my area. I was walking by CBR around 4pm and it looked like they were just opening so I stopped in and I was immediately impressed. Nate and Miguel were both opening the restaurant and they couldn't have been more of a pleasure to interact with and gave me some really good recommendations on food. I started off with the Tuna Poke on happy hour... the only thing I'm upset about is I didn't start dipping the poke in the sauce until the end, and it was incredibly tasty... The dish itself was rock solid and it was the perfect appetizer because it was light with protein and healthy fat... (I was super hungry when I got there so it killed the hunger, but I still had plenty of room for the chicken sandwich and fries) With that in mind, I don't know if I was just really hungry... or the Chicken sandwich was the most perfect combination of flavor and tender chicken, topped with grilled Brussels sprouts. I think the kids these days call that, Fire! Ps. Make sure to ask for the chicken sauce on the side as well. They both recommended it was much better than having it with ketchup. Honestly, hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a while. Lastly, I tried Nate's self engineered "Kiss-Kiss" cocktail drink which I thought was amazing (Whiskey, with egg whites and some kind of fancy berries). Was definitely impressed by that one which is what you're seeing in the action photo, above! Just thought I'd say thanks for the food and service! You guys crushed it. Best, -Danny

I stopped into CBR after giving up on getting a seat at a nearby, newly-opened Italian eatery which shall not be named that turned out to have backless barstools and a very high decibel level. Located in the Royal Sonesta Hotel (formerly Palomar), I have fond memories of this spot from its earlier incarnation as Sable. I hadn't had a chance to visit CBR until yesterday. I was in search of a hand-crafted cocktail in charming, peaceful surrounds. I'm happy to report that CBR delivered. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy winter evening. Holiday decor around the space added a seasonal, festive touch. When I stopped in, it seemed like most of the patrons at the bar were staying at the hotel, but I felt welcomed and was promptly offered water and a drink menu. I had a taste for a negroni, which was exceptionally prepared. The menu features mainly light bites, and I was told by the Nate behind the bar that CBR offers happy hour (wine/beer and featured craft cocktails along with food) on Tuesday-Friday, from 4pm-6pm. Will definitely be back here for an elevated happy hour!

Charming Date Night at CBR Last weekend, my boyfriend took me out on a dinner date at CBR, a place he'd been raving about. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a romantic evening. We were greeted by our bartender, Nate, who was exceptionally welcoming and eager to recommend his favorites. We started our culinary journey with Nate's drink suggestions: a Watermelon Paloma for me and a Blood Orange Paloma for my boyfriend. Both were great, but the highlight was Nate's special creation, the Kiss-Kiss. It was a unique blend that added a fun twist on our evening. For appetizers, we tried the Lamb Meatballs, CBR Double Crunch Wings, and the Burrata and Black Kale Salad. Each dish was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, making it hard to pick a favorite. The meatballs, in particular, were a standout with their rich, savory sauce. As for the main course, we shared the Steak Frites with truffle fries and the short rib. The steak was cooked just right, and the truffle fries were a delicious surprise, seasoned perfectly with parmesan. The short rib was tender and flavorful, leaving us both impressed. Our date night at CBR was a wonderful experience. The combination of delicious food, creative drinks, and warm service made our evening special. Thanks to Nate and the CBR team for a memorable night. Can't wait to come back for more!

After a long drive to the city, we were looking for a quick bite and saw that our hotel restaurant was closing fairly soon. We asked if we could be seated and order food and the server was so nice to get us seated. I ordered the "I'm just mad about Saffron" cocktail and man was it good! It had a ton of different flavors and the combination was amazing. We ordered a side of Brussels sprouts, French fries, and a burger for us all to share. The little one lived their French fries of course but she also loves the Brussels sprouts! The glaze and nuts on top was the perfect sweetness and tang to bring out the flavors. Amazing spot for food and great drinks.

A lovely establishment for fantastic food and a good view for people watching. We stopped here for breakfast. The coffee was superb. The cappuccino I got was the right amount of creamy with bitter smooth coffee. The black coffee was the right temperature to drink right away and the perfect balance for any coffee drinker. For their breakfast sides I recommend the fruit. It was a good mix of sweet fruits and more mellow fruits, like honeydew and cantaloupe. I got the lux and it was some of the best I've had in a while.
