Fantastic service and all of the food was delicious. Our central heater went out multiple times and it was cold; but, the staff worked really hard to keep us comfortable (holding the heater to on so it didn't turn off for 10-15 min, trying to and eventually repairing the heater). Definitely would come back still!!

If you are looking for something different to do, make your way to Chateau Carbide. You can choose to grab small bites inside or outside. I chose a table inside. As an educator, I love free stuff. I enjoyed complimentary nuts and olives while I looked over the menu. Of course, I ordered the charcuterie board. Even though I wanted something non-alcoholic, I ordered the espresso martini. Everything on the charcuterie board was delicious. The crackers were crisp, the spreads were tasty, and there was more than enough meat and cheese. My martini was handcrafted perfectly. I would love to come back to experience the summer vibe.

Outdoor fire pits are great but you cannot order a hot drink when it is 20 degrees out. That makes absolutely no sense. Cold drinks only for their winter pop up.

We really enjoyed our experience, even with a limited food menu. There was a good variety of drink options, including many specialty cocktails. We sat inside, but the outdoor seating looked cozy and inviting. The service was great, too!

Never Returning. Absolute waste of a night. Waited 1hr and 30mins to get sat at our Winter Gardens table even though we had a reservation. Terrible management. Server tried the best she could. Was all alone with little to no help from her Busser or host. Such a disappointment. Save your money and go else where. There are better roof tops.

Great spot at Chicago magnificent Mike, the rooftop is amazing. Cocktails are great but a bit of additional variety on the food menu would be appreciated

The food, drinks, and waiters for our winter chateau were all fantastic. The organization of the restaurant overall was severely lacking. When we got out of the elevator there wasn’t anyone around. We wander down the left hallway…nothing. Wandered down the right hallway, ran into a waiter who said “umm the hostess helps you”, and then he walked away. What hostess? The place was empty and there was no one by the elevators. Also for promoting a winter rooftop they can’t do any hot drinks and they have some issues with keeping fire pits lit. The place has great potential if someone actually added some organization and management.

Made the reservation and it said indoors so was not expecting to be outdoor. When I messaged asking if we could come early they said, sure there is an indoor space until your outdoor space was ready. ok, so reservation description misleading. Then on way to “Chateau” she said there is a $70 minimum for outdoor space. If we ended up ordering something to go we felt we could meet that. But was never said on the reservation system. Our fire pit was not lit, nor did anyone offer to light it. We asked and they ended up having to change the tank. No real room or plan to be able to eat comfortably while wrapped in the blankets ( they were really nice) and fire pit very close. No real view the way the Cheatea's were facing. If we were with 4 people, the 2 on the outside would have really felt the wind and cold. Will come back to try the lobby bar. That felt like a good vibe down there. Rooftop is a cool idea, didn't quite deliver that. Servers were nice and tried to be accommodating, but I know our server was doing inside and outside tables.

Drinks are great and the old building is very cool, but service was poor and the ambiance was not great. The lights were turned on and off every few minutes for at least half an hour. It's very clear the indoor space is not set up well

This place honestly sucks. $20 for Chicago’s most average cocktails. Dusty plastic plants, no vibes, music feels like I’m shopping in Walmart. Service was friendly and fine. Literally go anywhere else.

Rooftop was nice but small. The tap water served tasted like it came from a swimming pool. Server took our drink order served the drinks and then never checked back with us. We asked to split the bill and was told no but then was able to do it, which is very strange.

Very disappointed from our experience at this venue. We came here to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday and was very disappointed. They started by bringing almonds and olives to the table. The almonds were soft and stale. The drinks suggested had flavor, but they forgot to put the alcohol in one of them. We ordered cocktail shrimp, which were great, but also ordered the lobster roll which had no lobster in it. It was a pre-mix with no chunks of anything. My girlfriend ordered a second drink and was only able to take 2 sips because there was more ice that actual drink in the cup. Our server was very kind, but it was not enough to make this a good experience at all. It has a rooftop, but not really any views from it. Very disappointing and note worth the price at all.

Wanted to sit outside-photos looks really relaxing and casual with lounge chairs-but there were only dining tables...misleading
