Rooftop was nice but small. The tap water served tasted like it came from a swimming pool. Server took our drink order served the drinks and then never checked back with us. We asked to split the bill and was told no but then was able to do it, which is very strange.

Very disappointed from our experience at this venue. We came here to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday and was very disappointed. They started by bringing almonds and olives to the table. The almonds were soft and stale. The drinks suggested had flavor, but they forgot to put the alcohol in one of them. We ordered cocktail shrimp, which were great, but also ordered the lobster roll which had no lobster in it. It was a pre-mix with no chunks of anything. My girlfriend ordered a second drink and was only able to take 2 sips because there was more ice that actual drink in the cup. Our server was very kind, but it was not enough to make this a good experience at all. It has a rooftop, but not really any views from it. Very disappointing and note worth the price at all.

Wanted to sit outside-photos looks really relaxing and casual with lounge chairs-but there were only dining tables...misleading

When you go here, you are really paying for the view and to be in the space, not for the value or taste. We got the garden flatbread which was good, but absurdly priced for what you get. Portions are small. The Mezcal drink wasn't very smokey like it was advertised to be. The Lemongrass cooler was sweet but good. While our waitress was nice, there was a waiter going around collecting menus and had a visible annoyance when we said we still needed our menu. The espresso creme brulee was the best thing we had there. Nothing special enough to bring us back, though.

West-facing diners have a beautiful view. Other angles feel hemmed in. Food is mediocre, as are expensive cocktails. No heat lamps or fire pits but they do provide cozy blankets.

The Plateau is very los, so you actually Only See the Front of the next Building. No View at all

The ambiance was great. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The view was as great as I thought it would be. But the music, staff and vibe was still amazing.

Our waiter was fantastic and we had great drinks. The food was pretty good but nothing to brag about. The outside deck was beautiful with nice views.

Terrible experience. Waiter didn't come to our table for 15 min after getting seated. He forgot our drink orders. Then brought terrible drinks that were watered down. We had to ask different workers for our bills about 4 times and waited for the bill for about 20 minutes.

Excellent space, unique spot on a historic roof top, and excellent service, eats, and drinks. I will be back 🫶🏼

Came for the rooftop vibes, and it didn't disappoint! Located on the 24th floor of the Pendry Hotel, it offers a nice view of the downtown area with comfortable seating and a stylish atmosphere. The service was excellent from start to finish. The lobster roll was delicious, and the drinks were just as good. Perfect spot for great food, drinks, and city views.

This place fully catfished us. The photos online are a misrepresentation of the restaurant, it looks nothing like the website. We requested to sit outside and while we know it wasn't guaranteed, we saw more than two 4 top tables sit empty while we dined inside a stuffy and small carpeted sterile room. We even asked if we could move outside, the host declined. The food was incredibly mediocre and once we went to the bathroom, we realized why - there is no kitchen. It's a small station with an air fryer and about 6 menu items. I was absolutely EMBARRASSED to have suggested this place to my friends and extremely disappointed to see how much this place is falsifying the experience online. It is a tourist trap at best. The manager was very kind as I explained our disappointment and she comped out beverages which I appreciate but I will never return and I will advise others to never go.

We had the BEST time. What a wonderful experience. The staff was lovely and thoughtful. Maggie was our server and she was phenomenal. We were able to enjoy both sitting inside and outside. The drink offerings were excellent. I highly recommend going here while you are in Chicago.

Hostess that seated us was pretty rude and acted like she didn't want us there when we arrived. We thought we were going to be seated outside and asked the hostess but was actually seated inside saying there is no room outside. Since we were seated inside we didn't have a server help us and the hostess told us we had to walk up to the bar for drinks... This is in comparison to being outside who had a server assist them and bring drinks out to them with olives and nuts. There was no AC inside so the hostess assistant (who was a lot more helpful) advised us we can order our drinks and help ourselves to any space outside along the railing. While we were outside we saw 3 tables completely empty.. If it was reserved for another party OK, but we arrived first and the hostess can also let us know or give us a time as to when that next party would arrived. We could have then moved to the railing after? We were there for only drinks so we were not going to stay long anyways. It felt targeted because we were the only people of color and felt as if the main hostess intentionally placed us inside away from the others. Rather than getting multiple rounds, we decided to just stick to the one drink and move on to the next place due to our experience and how poorly this was organized. Do not recommend and will not be coming back.
