My sister's and I had a great time at Chalet! The manager/waiter/bartender Courtney was amazing! She had great customer service and was able to multi-task when it became crowded!

I made reservations here after seeing TikTok videos. I am not from Chicago and was visiting for the first time. We made reservations for 8. We got there at 7:50 and they told me I needed to get there at 8 on the dot. So we were sent upstairs. We went back down at 8 and nothing. I get the Chicago bears were playing so we gave them a little grace for the crowd, but we stood for a hour without anyone giving any updates. People had already paid their tab and was just allowed to sit in the seats and watch the game. We finally sat down a few minutes after 9 and was told it's only a limited menu, us not being from Chicago we would've never known that. We were expecting the full menu, disappointing. The one plus was Holly, she was great. She moved us from the cold door and sat us in a booth. She was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu.

Came in to celebrate a birthday. Service was extremely slow. From not being acknowledged by the host as she had a line. To our reservation lasting almost 4hrs. Food was room temp. We were seated upstairs. Bartender was amazing but a sloth. I mean we ordered an espresso martini and a lemonade to start and we waited not only 30mins for water but our drinks as well. Be careful with using that barcode block on the table to pay your bill. They charge $1.99. Gratuity was automatically added for a party of 4. We had 8 originally and they couldn't come so I was ok with that but watch those fees. It's getting out of hand. Overall, I think I'd be back. The manager and server were sweethearts and the food was actually delish just want hot when served. FYI, the charcuterie board to share for 2 is pretty small.

When you walk in, they do greet you they do see you if you have a reservation. I had a party of 12 some of my guests was already there. They were at the bar will the greeter set us down at my table? He said the server will be with us shortly. Our server was the bartender and the waitress even though she worked pretty fast and we did get our drinks and food pretty quickly, but I feel like they should have a server a bartender but other than all the service was great. It just need more staff

We waited an hour for our food after being seated. When we got our food, it was cold. My appetizer arrived after my entrée. It was altogether a very poor experience. I would not recommend spending the hard earned money in this place.

I went to Chalet in River North for brunch, and it ended up being a really solid choice. I ordered the brunch board, which comes with a little bit of everything—waffles, pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, fried chicken, boneless wings, and a variety of fruit. Every item on the board was tasty, and it’s a fun way to try a mix of their brunch classics.
I also got the shrimp and grits as a side, and it was creamy, flavorful, and honestly one of the standout dishes of the meal.
The only thing to note is that Chalet is on the pricier side, and gratuity is automatically included, so just keep that in mind when you’re looking at the final bill.
Overall, great brunch spot with delicious food and definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

MORGAN IS THE #1 SERVING IN THE BUILDING!!! I flew from Jacksonville, FL just to try this restaurant for my birthday! I knew it was going to be fire from a tiktok I saw but I had no idea our server was going to set the day for us. She was the best from us getting seated to us get our check! I’m so glad I choose this restaurant to celebrate! They did it up for me! CHALET CLEANED THE PLATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS! THEY OWE ME NOTHING!!💯

MORGAN WAS FIREEEEEE, our food came out quick our shot came out quicker , and the personality and service was so amazing . We ordered the shrimp and grits and it didn’t disappoint!!! It was the perfect combination of savory with a little spice , and their spicy peach wings were the star of the show !!!
