Great coffee

Juan Contreras-Kirby.

I had the most delightful experience the other morning felt so welcomed and I got everything I wanted. The bagel with cream cheese my favorite is always sesame they were ou but I got plain and it was toasted to perfection so good I also order vanilla ice cream and a peanut butter banana smoothie for my husband. Thank you Charmers. Lived the Halloween šŸ‘» decor.

I try to set meetings here so I can go enjoy the friendly vibe and outdoor seating! The owners are wonderful women who generously give back to the community. I’m a big fan of their iced vanilla latte and the amazing baked goods they make in house.
Super dog friendly patio, with an outdoor order window.

Used to love this place and have since had several negative experiences, including a barista who knowingly watched me being sexually harassed and ignored me and wouldn’t take my order (which could’ve at least helped distract from the situation)

Very cute, friendly place on a quiet corner in Rogers Park. Delicious food and coffee, lots of shady outdoor seating surrounded by plants.

The servers are very personable and friendly! They went above and beyond with customer service and were kind enough to give us a grilled cheese on the house after we messed up our order. Definitely will be coming back! Lovely atmosphere, great music, just incredible service all around!

Great coffee, great seating (indoor and outdoor), and solid breakfast sandwiches. Love spending time here, the surrounding plants and pedestrian street make for a nice ambiance. Dog friendly outside.

Not worth the price

I really wanted to like Charmers Cafe — it’s got a nice, cozy vibe, and the service is great. But honestly, it’s way too expensive for what you get. I ordered a 20-ounce hot mocha, which I love, but the flavor was just okay. The worst part was that the cup was only half full with coffee, the rest was just foam. I understand foam is part of the drink, but I’ve been to other places where you actually get what you pay for.

In the end, I spent over $40 on a sandwich with extra charges for fries and that mocha that ended up being more like 8 ounces of coffee. It just wasn’t worth it. I went because I’d heard good things, and yes, the place is pretty, and the service is nice, but I really wish the food and drinks matched the price.

The coffee is mediocre and overpriced, and service is slow.

Truly some of the most delicious lattes and an immaculate vibe both inside and outside. Great patio! I wish they labelled their vegan food options a bit better - unclear what's vegan and what isn't, even though a lot is. Highly recommend, though.

I have been here 3 times in the past week. For both Breakfast & Lunch and everything has been fantastic. Very tasty. Fresh, filling and excellent presentation. Friendly staff. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back.
