It was fantastic, we had my wife's 40th birthday there. The host, Sheridan, was very accommodating and so friendly. The service was great and the food was better. The location is perfect for a good meal before heading to the museum campus
The wings were OK at best. The price does not match what you get. Also, it took a very long time for the wings to be served when there weren't even that many people in the restaurant. The wings did not feel like they were fresh off the grill either so I'm not sure what took so long.

The burger was good, nothing to make me want to visit again. The wings however, were better than the burger in my opinion. Will go back for the asian sauced wings.
Overpriced garbage wings that were clearly cooked a longtime ago and reheated when you place the order. Do not go here. Avoid at all costs. You'd be better off getting wings from a gas station.

Never received silverware and asked twice. Tobacco onions were burnt and cold. Burger way over priced. Asked for medium rare and I got medium well to well. Server diss nothing about it. Very nice server but poor service. Fries were hot and good.
We have loved this Burger Bar every time we visit Chicago, but this time it was just okay. Drinks were watered down and the burger wasn't as good. We will give them another chance the next time we visit!
For the life of me, I cannot understand the decision-making of this restaurant’s customer service. I placed an order on Uber Eats for Korean glazed wings. Instead of canceling the order or notifying me that the flavor was sold out, the staff took it upon themselves to send completely random wings with an unidentified sauce. How is this not a blatant display of greed and a lack of integrity? Beyond poor service, this is dangerous — what if I had an allergy to whatever they decided to send?
And the icing on the cake? The sweet potato fries were fried to a level of hardness that could compete with pork rinds. They literally gave me the scraps of whatever old batch was left.
Simply trifling.

My wife and I both ordered the bacon burger and both agreed that this was one of the best burgers we have ever had. The quality of the burger patty itself made the burger amazing! Fast service and relaxed atmosphere... We will def be back when we're in town again.
Probably the worst wings I've ever had (and they weren't cheap).

Had an incredibly tasty burger and fries here midweek. Had the sport on the screens and tonnes of beers to choose from. I'm celiac and was so well looked after by Carmen who knew exactly what was in each burger and what needed to be omitted to make it gluten free. Fries are cooked in a separate fryer so no cross contamination. 10/10
We loved the Burger Bar in Lincoln Park and were devastated when it closed, so we were so excited to learn that they opened a location in the Loop. The food wasn't quite as good as we remembered but it's still a solid burger. Good place for a bite if you're going to a Bears game or a show at Northerly Island.
Just my personal taste buds reflect that most things on the menu have too much spice. Some will absolutely love this just not me. The people are very friendly and it seems like there are definitely “locals”-mainly guys who come in for a few beers and to socialize or just sit. I didn't notice anything extraordinary. Just a regular bar food place with a large selection of beers but even then-nothing out of the ordinary great.
Location was busy and server was doing best he could but couldn't keep up. Ordered drinks, waited 10 min to be told keg being changed, waited another 10 to be told ran out of that style, ordered a new one and waited 10 more minutes for it to be served. Portions for apps and mains were really small and the firehouse burger tasted like a taco burger, no heat and really oily. Manager stopped by and was nice but didn't help the service (as he was waiting tables himself). Lady came by to fill waters and said would be back but never came back??? Good location for a pregame meal but be warned on service and portions for price.
Super dry, zero sauce, 18.00$, 30min cook time, no napkins, 75 cents for a half oz blue cheese dressing. What a waste.
