I have been here several times but this last time was not great. Me and my friends ended up leaving. Maybe it was just an off day. I always enjoy the food but the service this time around was below average.

This used to be my favorite Korean BBQ spot in the city. They have the best banchan options including pumpkin and marinated onions and one of the few places in the city with spicy pork. But they’ve started to nickel and dime you to the point where it feels like you’re being cheated. It’s customary in BBQ spots for side dishes to be replenished for free. I had dinner here during a business trip and can only recommend it. The service is exceptionally good and the food tastes great too! The side dishes were very tasty and we really liked them! Daebak will definitely remain on my list for future trips to Chicago.
