Small/quaint taco joint that's fast/friendly with no tables but stool seating inside, patio seating in the back. Parking available next door but enter thru the alley on Oakley or from Hubbard to the south

You will ruminate as you place your order thinking "But I could find better priced and better tasting Mexican food elsewhere?" but other Mexican restaurants this good aren't this close to you, are more expensive, and/or aren't open 24 hours. This is a good restaurant. You will like it whether you love liking it or not.

I’ve been coming to Chavas Tacos for over 10 years, and they never miss! The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. Open 24 hours, it’s perfect for late-night cravings or an early bite. The service is always quick, though parking can be tricky. Still, it’s worth it every time. A true Chicago gem!
