You will ruminate as you place your order thinking "But I could find better priced and better tasting Mexican food elsewhere?" but other Mexican restaurants this good aren't this close to you, are more expensive, and/or aren't open 24 hours. This is a good restaurant. You will like it whether you love liking it or not.

I’ve been coming to Chavas Tacos for over 10 years, and they never miss! The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. Open 24 hours, it’s perfect for late-night cravings or an early bite. The service is always quick, though parking can be tricky. Still, it’s worth it every time. A true Chicago gem!

Was nice to be able to get a bite to eat late at night while waiting for my train. Decided to try out the chicken taco dinner, and it was alright-- but I've had better & the same amount of food for a much lower cost at other mexican restaurants. It was ready pretty quick, but the chicken was pretty dry and flavorless so I didn't think it was quite worth the ~20$ price tag, but if I were ever in a pinch in the area I would go again. I was surprised by the prices but...
