Great place for Eastern European and Central Asian food. You must try the hearing salad and the honey cake. The service is wonderful. The place is slightly rundown, but the food is delicious. I came here for Ukrainian Borsch and Plov. Recommend everything.

The young man at the register was very welcoming and had some of the best hospitality I’ve seen in quite some time. Food was also delicious and well worth the visit next time you visit the train station

Delicious!!

My husband and I drove into Chicago for a concert and found this place when looking for something that was open. We both got the special with a small soup and small entree. I got the Mastava which was absolutely delicious and I loved the fresh dill. My husband got the Borscht which was also delicious. Haven’t been to many restaurants with central Asian food and this was a really good experience! The lady serving us was also very sweet and super nice!

Guys, don't take the cargo here, it's very bad, there's not even a toilet.

Food was decent but there were so many flies! I got bit at least ten times and had to scare flies from my food at least every 20 seconds. Both food and the comfort were ruined by the insects.

Great no fuss late night spot where Uzbeks and Kryrgs and others can come and have tea and chat and enjoy a familiar meal. Various products for sale or to take home. You won't get many words from them. Service is a bit slow but the Food is amazing. Restaurant space is chill and accommodating, plenty of room to sit. Food comes out piping hot. Hours are loose. Show up and see whether they're open. Sometimes they'll hang out past 12 and let people sit in and relax and enjoy their meal. Great spot, glad I found it. Instant favorite.

Chayhana is a low-key central Asian spot with a quiet atmosphere. The Kuurdak featured flavorful potatoes, and the Boso Lagman had great seasoning, though the noodles were a bit too soft. The cheese pida was a pleasant surprise, rich with mozzarella and very filling. Not the top choice for this cuisine in the city, but still a solid and comforting option.
