Great place to have a quick bite. I love that they have lots of great vegetarian options (nothing boring and actually tasty), and the convenience of it being open til late.

I tried the kali mist with fries on the side and it was solid. The turkey and bacon combo hit all the savory notes and had a nice spice kick. Fries were crispy and seasoned well though I wish they were a bit hotter. The spot has a cool, chill vibe perfect for a quick, no frills bite. I’d come back to try another sub but maybe skip the fries next time.

I stopped in at Cheba Hut Wicker Park and ordered The La Canna—an Italian toasted sub stacked with smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, black olives, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake & House Dressing. It was everything you’d expect a toasted sub to be—flavorful, perfectly balanced, and toasted just right.

The ingredients tasted fresh, the bread had the perfect crunch, and the portion was more than satisfying. The vibe of the shop matches the food: fun, laid-back, and full of personality. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to when I’m craving a great sub done right.

We love the options, but last time we went the sandwich wasn't made like we ordered so can't give it 5 stars. It's the only time it's happened so far so most likely just an outlier.

Yeah I went to the store the other day and had the best sandwich of my life If you never at the kali mist go get one and watch how it melts in your mouth also shout out to the bartenders there definitely the life of the shop and all the drinks I had were amazing I would definitely recommend cheba to other friends

They constantly mess up my delivery. I asked for no onions on my French dip because I am allergic and not only were the onions but tons of them. Do better!!!

This is the place to be!
Was there with two friends and we had an amazing time. The beers are great – nice selection with something for every taste, from crisp lagers to more flavorful ales. The sandwiches are sooooo delicious 🤘 – freshly made, packed with flavor, and definitely a highlight of the visit.

The staff welcomed us with big smiles and friendly conversation, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, but still buzzing with life – a perfect spot whether you want to hang out for a while or just grab a quick bite and a beer.

We ended up staying longer than planned because we enjoyed it so much. Can't recommend it enough – we’ll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Me and my friends we greeted with amazing service, food was great, cheap happy hour beers and extremely hospitable and kind staff. I highly recommend this place !
