Apparently, the company was upset about my full AND HONEST review. CHEBA HUT notified Yelp because they didn't like my full and honest experience. Yelp is for honest reviews and that's what I have given. The staff at this establishment primarily ignored the customers and the only one who didn't ignore our table claimed to be the owners daughter ( whom ever that is) and she was very tipsy and doing shots in the corner. My friends food wasn't correct and one of the sandwiches was filled with lettuce and tomatoes versus the meat the was supposed to be in the sandwiches. This was my actual experience.

8 years ago, my step granddaughter had baked a tray of brownies and left them on the stove. I had about 4 and half until my eyes started closing on their own. My vision spun black, to white, to even maybe red orange and yellow. I was terrified of the way I felt- it was my first time under the influence of marijuana besides in the clove cigarette I smoked back in '68. I had the AK-47 at Cheba Hut yesterday. It stayed perfectly warm in my bag despite my 25 minute moped trek home thanks to the thorough wrapping of the employees. The wife questioned why I smelt like roast beef after supper that night, but I assured her it was just from the Cheba Hut- and not to mention the best damn "toasted" sub I've had in these odd 71 years of life.

Very first time coming to this joint, and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed St. Paddy's Day with my wife. Had some drinks and had a good ol' time. Sandwiches were amazing, the white widow, if you don't, you better find out, will definitely come again.

Gotta love this Cheba Hut with the baller mural of all the Chicago celebs gettin baked just like their tasty bread. It’s nice to have a toasted sandwich spot in Wicker and I’ve had a great meal every time I go here. My go to is the Midwest Best. It’s a bangin sando with really great sauce and crispy bacon. Don’t skip on some kool aide and their munchies to go. They have a decent happy hour too so this is a solid late lunch early drinks spot. Staff could not be nicer and be patient. Bring an Indica mind set when dining in. This is a place to chill and vibe out, not a subway so keep that impatience at the door.

Been here a few times and each time has been great. I get the KGB and is awesome. Love the different Kool Aids! Parking was pretty easy compared to the other location.
Weed infused names but not in the food or drinks! Subs are good. Bar wait was extremely long.

Such good sandwiches with SOOO many options!!!!! I don't eat a lot of meat, so I was very happy when I saw how many veggie options they had. My roomate & I doordashed this after a night of going out & it was the perfect late night meal. Highly recommend!

We drive over an hour a few times a week just for Cheba Hut & were not ashamed to say it! Lol more importantly, specifically this location. The friendliest staff, amazing service, chill vibes and best damn sub to satisfy your munchies.
