This was a quick run!I rarely eat fast food but Checkers is always my go-to for a quick bite & CRISPY FRIES!The service was fast and I was in the drive-thru at max maybe a minute and 30 seconds if I were to clock it! In & out like a bank job!

Spur of the moment visit to this Checkers location that I have had interest in for the longest time. I just happened to be in the area driving along Roosevelt Dr, and hungry at the time. The lack of vehicles within the drive-thru played a major influence in my decision to instantly swerve into the parking lot for a visit. I ended up ordering their Famous Seasoned Fries, a Chocolate Chip Brookie, and a Soft Drink - Fanta Strawberry which I waited for in an acceptable time frame in the drive-thru. I have to say that the way the drive-thru exit is designed, it does affect vehicles exiting, especially when traffic is at its peak along Roosevelt Dr. As for the food, the Famous Seasoned Fries did not disappoint as I knew they would not. Likely, I will order a larger size next time because that medium just did not do it for me. Nowadays, I wish an order of fries were just as big as the soft drinks, but that is just me. Now as for the Chocolate Chip Brookie, I picked it up with the biggest smirk on my face in anticipation of what I was about to taste. Yes, it was delicious AF! And, yes, I wish I had ordered two rather than just one, hehe. As for returning, "You bet your Grannie's Panties I will", as Kim Harrison quoted in the book 'Dead Witch Walking'. Visiting Chicago and heard that checkers fries are really good, and I can agree to that! Had a bit of a weird experience cuz we thought they were closed. Turns out you just need to pull on the doors hard lol. Will go back for the fries!
I ordered 2 meals large burgers without pickles and funnel cake fries and they didn't give me no fries at all they didn't give me my funnel cake fries either and they put pickles on my burgers they were cold they also gave me the wrong drinks as well that show they don't read peoples orders and they give them what ever they feel like giving they don't value the customers sucks burgers and fries are good but I will not be ordering from here again because if I'm spending my money at your restaurant I expect order to be right and not missing items

The cashier was so nice and kind and the food came out instantly and delicious I've never had checkers and I saw they 1 star reviews but I wanted to give it a chance my self. All in all the fries were hot and crunchy and the burger was perfectly made I will be coming back

This place is in a busy and kinda rough neighborhood. I really wanted some Checkers fries. The doors were locked and had to go through drive-thru. I found out the two young men had just locked the door for their safety. I told them that was the right thing to do and was proud of them working and doing the right thing to be safe no matter what. I really liked the attitude and personality of the cashier. He was polite.
