I’ve been here twice for the glorilla meal deal and my orders have been fast, a great price, delicious and very filling.

I left a Google review on two checkers and I was honest and detailed with the horrible location on halsted in Chicago, IL. 8 have pictures as well but choose not to embarrass the chickens on google reviews. I received a response to come here ans speak to Corporate about my experience!
Truly,

The facility looks a little dull and rundown could use some very needed upkeep on the outside curb appeal

Originally received wrong order. Went back next day to get correct order and received fresh hot food. Just check your order before pulling off!

This location is one of the most frustrating places to deal with. The wait times are unreasonably long — drivers are often left standing for 15–30 minutes even when the order is supposed to be ready. There is no sense of urgency, no respect for people’s time, and it feels like the staff simply does not care.
The employees show a clear lack of responsibility. They are careless with orders, often forget items, and when you ask for help or clarification, they ignore you or act annoyed. Instead of basic courtesy, you get disrespect and unprofessional behavior. It leaves drivers in embarrassing situations with customers and makes the entire process stressful.
This location desperately needs better training, stricter management, and accountability. Until that happens, customers and delivery drivers should be prepared for delays, incomplete orders, and very poor service.

Checkers hasn't done well in its bid to compete with McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's in the fast-food market. Today, there are a dozen locations in the Chicago area, a total of 19 in Illinois. Founded in 1986 in Mobile, Alabama, Checkers merged with Louisville-based Rally's in 1999. Now there are 820 locations in 28 states and Washington DC, mostly owned by creditors. A friend once owned a Checkers on Addison Avenue, two blocks east of Wrigley Field. But it's long gone. Checkers, with its unique double drive-through and seasoned, parmesan-laden fries, continues to thrive in Florida. The 6705 South Halsted location, at West Marquette Road, in the Englewood community, is most convenient to me. Honestly, I like Checkers. Open from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily, it offers a tasty menu of burgers, hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, slushies and shakes. The headliners are the Big Buford and the Triple Baconzilla. Big Buford is Checkers' answer to McDonald's Big Mac and Burger King's Whopper. It consists of two large hand-seasoned 100 percent beef hamburger patties topped with two slices of melted American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayo on a toasted bakery-style bun. Move over, Big Mac. The Baconzilla features three large hand-seasoned 100 percent beef hamburger patties piled high with four slices of crispy bacon, three slices of American cheese, melted cheddar cheese, ketchup and mayo on a toasted bakery-style bun. Move over, Whopper. On the lighter side, I order an All-American cheeseburger with a juicy, seasoned hamburger patty topped with cheese, pickle, ketchup and mustard on a sesame seed bun or a crispy fish filet sandwich topped with iceberg lettuce and tartar sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun. With fries and a chocolate milk shake. Next time you drive past a Checkers, stop in. And enjoy.
