Checkers hasn't done well in its bid to compete with McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's in the fast-food market. Today, there are a dozen locations in the Chicago area, a total of 19 in Illinois. Founded in 1986 in Mobile, Alabama, Checkers merged with Louisville-based Rally's in 1999. Now there are 820 locations in 28 states and Washington DC, mostly owned by creditors. A friend once owned a Checkers on Addison Avenue, two blocks east of Wrigley Field. But...

Its allways made fresh, i get the same thing every time (2) spicy chicken sandwitches with XL fries and somtimes somthingelse along with that for a lil change with a cherry coke cheap straws that break the second you touch them. Its GREAT that there open till 5am ALLWAYS STAY HUNGRY!
