Loved the White Lotus inspired drink, it was strong. The Crab Rangoons had the perfect flavor, but my only complaint is that I wish they were more packed given their $10 price-point. Something that was unique that I wanted to try was the newly launched shrimp toast. The top layer has a bed of shrimp sitting on the japanese milk bread. this really had a mild flavor surprisingly given the complex ingredients including the ramps, chili crisps, and yuzu mayo. They were out of their hand pulled short rib noodles, so we tried their dan dan noodles with ground pork. These were creamy, heavier peanut flavor, and had some heat attached to the dish. I loved their walnut shrimp: crispy, crunchy, and lightly sweet. Their dessert was arguably the best part of the meal because this black sesame cake had ube ice cream, roasted strawberries, mochi, and toasted meringue. I really enjoyed customizing each bite, and overall this was such good spot. I’d recommend.

One of our favorite places in the city (if not *the* favorite). The food is always delicious, great vibe, and very friendly service! Usually can get a seat at the bar right away for groups of 2-4 even on busy nights.

Overall, a spectacular meal! The dry fried green beans were a favorite, but everything we had was delicious. The serpentine cocktail was a twist on a classic martini that I really enjoyed.

Finally tried Chef’s Special and it was as great as I had heard. The cocktails were really good and very unique, and the food was delicious. The ambiance and decor of the place was really cool and seemed like a fun spot to spend an entire night drinking and eating at. The rolled noodles were great and the short rib in there was delicious. Both the pork & shrimp egg rolls were delicious as well but the sauces really stole the show. A mix of sweet, spicy, and savory between the mustard wasabi, sweet n sour and chili oil. The wontons were really good as well with a great level of heat. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Dietary restrictions: They were very clear about what food I could/could not have with a nut & seafood allergy with plenty of options available still.

the free-for-all bar seating is the worst but everything else is great. drinks, food, service, atmosphere were amazing. definitely won’t be back without a reservation.

Hmm. Ok , if you’re going for a cocktail and a swanky vibe then this is it. But , if you are going for the food like I was - I was unimpressed. The rolls were meh. The noodles were too heavy and not appealing. What bothered me most was the sauces on each dish - too much spice and not a pleasant flavor. Not sure what spin the kitchen staff is taking but def not my favorite. Too spicy to enjoy and too strange tasting to be exciting. But - drinks and service are superb. It’s a fantastic vibe overall. Just don’t go for the food like we did.

Only reason for 4 stars was being outside in a bit of wind. Heaters were helpful. Food was outstanding. Mini skirt, green beans, dry chili chicken and Dan dan noodles were delicious. Very good service.

This place has been getting a lot of play on social media lately and absolutely deserves it! Food and drinks were excellent (we had crab rangoons Dan Dan noodles pork ribs and green beans), there’s a happy hour running till 6 with food and drink specials too.
