Food was incredible! Highly recommend the veggie panini or the turkey ham panini, both were fire. The gumbo Greens soup healed my soul!

Such a homey, welcoming crowd here. Everyone having a good time, staff included. The food was excellent - the gumbo greens soup was delicious, the paninis are fantastic. Staff was super accommodating of lactose intolerance and left the cheese on the side so we could share with each other. I loved the veggie panini, the flavor of the veggies was so good and perfect with the soup. The turkey ham panini was incredible - the pear was sliced at the perfect thickness and the swiss cheese was the cherry on top. This cafe is great choice for seniors, as the soup was not overly salty - Chef Sara offered me some pepper flakes to kick up the heat and the pink salt on the table really brought out the flavors she had developed in the soup. 10/10, thank you Chef Sara for creating such a welcoming, calm, safe space where the neighborhood can come to enjoy great food and great company!

One of the highlights of my visit to see my son and his wife. Worth the drive from Minneapolis. Friendly owners who created a great experience and great food made with loving care

Above average food and coffee. Great neighborhood coffee spot for the community. Small kitchen can get overwhelmed with large orders, though.

After playing golf at South Shore, we walked over to Chef Sara's. I ordered the Turkey/ham panini and chicken soup with cornbread. My son had pancakes, eggs and bacon and his gal had the shrimp and grits. I was wondering why Chef Sara took out some chicken when I ordered the ham and turkey sandwich, then when I got my order I realized the chicken was in the soup. Yep, everything is made to order including the soup. Don't be in a hurry here. Relax, listen to the great music playing and the great food will come (we were super hungry and it was tough waiting while watching delicious plates go by - next time I'm having the french toast!) Anyway, everyone loved their food, very reasonably priced. Chef Sara was hospitable and friendly. I want to mention too that the Shrimp and grits was terrific -just the right amount of zing and my son's pancakes were sooo fluffy, delish. Chef Sara we wish you the best and hope to be back again sometime! PS. Thanks for the cornbread, sooo good!

I visited Sara’s, and dined in on two separate occasions. The first day I visited was pleasant. I was there engaging in a business meeting with two other people. The hospitality was great! The following day my daughter and I went there for breakfast. The lady at the register was snappy and rude! The food was good. The ladies serving the cafe are seasoned women, and appear to be set in their ways. However, to get respect, you must give it, regardless of age. We weren’t pleased with the way this lady acted. I will never go there again. I am not bad-mouthing their establishment, just speaking facts! Coustomer’s should be treated with respect! After all, entrepreneurs want to be patronized and a guest in an entrepreneur’s establishment, wants to be serviced respectfully!
