Just had dinner. Unfortunately, your delicious food was let down by our waiter "Carson." He treated us rudely from the start. He never checked on us once while we were eating and was obviously not busy. He looked at me and then looked away, when I tried to get his attention. He ignored us when we asked for our check. Honestly, if it hadn't been for another waiter, we would have received no service at all. Your wonderful food deserves better. He needs retraining.

Our "waiter" Carson was not welcoming nor attentive. He ignored us, we had to ask for basics like eating utensils and drinks. He gave us the vibe of "I don't need to serve you" while running and checking on the other patrons several times during our time there. When I asked for the check he completely ignored me and walked off. The food was decent (crunchy shrimp was amazing tho). The whole experience gave me the "I won't be back here anymore" attitude while walking out.

The food is pretty good and has the taste of home. But what kind of consciousness does this earring guy have with his cold expression?

First time trying this place out and I was not disappointed. I had the spicy beef noodles and wontons with garlic chili sauce both were delicious. If I’m ever back in Chinatown I would definitely come back!

Too long!
i've never had a bad dish from this place. i get the salted crispy shrimp every time, it's the best shrimp dish in all of chicago. everything is always perfectly seasoned and the portions are perfect. there are so many restaurants in chinatown that i will probably never get around to trying because i just keep coming back to this spot.

Chef Xiong - Taste of Szechuan is a solid spot for authentic Szechuan cuisine in Chicago’s Chinatown. The bone-in spicy chicken and fried noodles are particularly delicious, and the friendly service makes the experience even better. While parking can be a bit of a hassle, the quality of the food and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere make it worth the effort. Takeout is also available if you want to enjoy their tasty dishes at home. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to explore Szechuan flavors in a comfortable setting.

The BEST Sichuan food I’ve ever had in the U.S, which is even better than the restaurant I tried in Shanghai China.
Szechuan Popcorn chicken is the best - Spicy, crispy, no skin, no born, all high quality meat of chicken.
Boiled pork blood and tofu in chili sauce- actually it is not only contained pork blood of tofu! It is also full of fresh veggies and Chinese ham, tastes super good, with huge size.
Golden veggies picked fat beef soup: very yummy, plenty of beef is provided, with glass noodles in the soup.
Sweet and sour fish & shredded pork with garlic sauce: very good, even better than Shanghainese food. My American friend who cannot eat too much spices spoke highly of them!
Fish and tofu: beautiful dish for people who do not like spicy food. And with ham on it, full of juices, very tasty.
Finally, shout out to Chef Xiong, he is really an amazing and talented cook! I hope I can come to eat again very soon!
Kid-friendliness: Even provide kids seat for our baby!

The ingredients of the cold dishes taste good and the price is good?
This place was great. I was looking for a unique place to eat in Chinatown and this place intrigued me. So we stopped in for an early dinner and it was great. I had the curry shrimp which was just as much spice as i like. The plates are big enough to share so i recommend going with a group and be willing to share all the delicious food you select.

There was only one table inside. I stood at the door and waited for 20 minutes. The waiter didn't care. Poor service attitude.
