Very rude! Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced in china town, by far. I simply ordered an egg drop soup and server made a mistake. After grabbing the soup, he comes back to argue with me and was clearly aggravated that they had to replace a small egg drop soup. To add he walks away making hand gestures and shaking his head. Worse service from beginning to end! I will continue to write bad reviews of this place until they decide to fix their service. The WORSE!

Super nice little restaurant! We enjoyed our food very much. It was simple but so fresh. We ordered dumplings that were filled with meet and juice. Then we had ginger onion beef which was very tasty and strong flavored. We also ordered fried shrimp which were made simple but surprising very flavorful. We received a complimentary tea which was very nice. The restaurant was crowded but everyone had their space. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Went tonight and ordered the sizzling beef, sichuan shrimp, and a soup. It was all excellent, service was great, friendly and hardworking. Place was clean but the people behind us ordered something that smelled truly god awful. I dont know if it was the pig blood or the intestines but it smelled hellish. I dont think it was an issue with the establishment, I think its just something Im not used to smelling. I would recommend this restaurant. It was also super cheap.

Food was not very good. I had the chicken satay and that was delicious but also had the beef and a coconut drink and those were both terrible. Service was bad and would only come here for the satay and wings.

This is usually my first stop when I visit Chicago because they’re still open when I arrive around 10pm! A must order would be the salt and pepper pork chops. Tried the abalone and chicken congee and it was a disappointment, expect to get scallops instead of abalone. The rest of the dishes were good though!
Update Aug 2025
It’s been years since I’ve been back and I’m not quite sure what happened here! Let me start by they stopped serving brunch and opens at 4. Although the dining room was packed the food was definitely lacking taste! Wonton in the noodle soup was a little sour, ordered dishes cooked with jalapeños but was even a tad bit spicy and I would have to say the most disgusting thing I saw was a pan full of raw meats on a stick sitting out in the open on one of the dining tables! It was sitting there before and after my meal so who knows how long it was out for. Took a while for the server to take our order and give us our bill, never came to check on us. The tables are really close to each other and it’s nice that they no longer have the wooden stools for customers to sit on. This is one of the only place that opens until late so it could be the reason why they were so busy after 9, but I think next time I’m in town I’ll try somewhere else.
Let me start by saying this has nothing to do with flavor of food. It’s always great.
My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times and we have always loved it.
Today we came in, ordered and while we were waiting for our food a cockroach came strolling across our table.
We called a waiter over and told him about the infamous bug which he proceeded to smash with a pepper napkin.
Did not apologize, did not nothing.
We decided to leave and not have our meal.
Very disappointed and sad over this.
