The food is good. I miss Halal Bros which was here before. I do have to say that it is extremely ridiculous that you have to use a self service kiosk to order and then it actually asks you to leave a tip!? A tip is for good service! Who is tipping when you have to make your own order with zero interactions. What's next, they point you to the kitchen to cook your food yourself.

The taro boba here is my favorite—creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s always my go-to drink between classes.

Chi Tea is my absolute favorite spot near Loyola! Their taro boba is perfectly creamy, not too sweet, and the tapioca pearls are always fresh. I usually grab the Big Bird sandwich too—it’s huge, juicy, and filling enough to last me through classes. The staff is friendly and it’s such a nice break from the usual campus food.

Chi Tea is such a hidden gem! I tried their beef sliders and was blown away by how juicy and flavorful they were. I also love that they have so many bubble tea flavor options—strawberry and taro are my personal favorites. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re around Loyola.
