Came here with friends on Saturday and had an absolute blast! The food's quite good, drinks are nice, but obviously the primary focus is on the games, which doesn't disappoint. There's an amazing selection of games and staff members to help you learn them. We were near another table that had a very loud group and the staff was very helpful in getting us to a quieter place.
The only reason I dock a service star is because, while the general staff was helpful, the manager seemed both uninvolved (just sitting on a laptop, not even in an office) and quite rude to his own to staff. Every other employee was super sweet and super helpful, though! Hope that guy learns to enjoy life a little someday, especially considering where he works!

I loved it! It's incredibly cute and so much fun! The food was delivered incredibly quickly and the staff was incredibly helpful. I would have given the atmosphere another star, but it got very loud to where I couldn't hear the other people at my table.

People were having fun! Just know that it gets loud from other groups. They have private rooms but I think they're more expensive. Thankfully the staff was able to help my group with the noise and moved us to a quieter room. It was exactly what we needed and ended up having a much better time.

Jason as always was phenomenal. Provided tons of laughs and tons of help!

We rented a room for 3 hours. You can easily start separate tabs via a QR code in the room and send orders for food, drinks, and game help.

The vibes are delightful and the game variety is wonderful. Will go again.

The kitchen had to close early and the menu was very limited the day we were there but the rooms are cool for a game night and the service was prompt.

I came to Snakes & Lattes excited to host a group event for my group, but unfortunately, the experience was a major letdown.

Let’s start with the positives: the atmosphere is great, the decor is fun, they offer a large selection of games, and the food was pretty good. But that’s where the positives end.

The drinks? Practically undrinkable, so strong they were unpleasant and left at our table.
But the absolute worst part of our visit was the staff. I have never been treated so rudely or made to feel so unwelcome.

We were sat at a large table in the back and told by the hostess that we could play two games at once due to the size of our group. When we confirmed this with the “game teacher,” we were scolded and told no because it made their job harder, they even said they’d speak to the hostess for telling us that in a very “you’re in trouble” manner. From that moment on, we felt like we were being punished for simply asking a question.

For the entire 3 hour reservation, no one on the waitstaff ever checked on us. We got a few “thumbs up” from the same game teacher, but that was it. To make matters worse, about half an hour in, I received a phone call from the front asking if we were still coming, despite the fact that we were already there. I said yes, and the person on the phone just said “oh okay.”

Later, when exploring the game room, one of my guests and I were met with sarcastic and rude comments from an employee who felt the need to butt into our private conversation to critique our game choices. Not helpful, not funny, just uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Two hours in, another staff member approached us to say several people hadn’t paid their $7 game fee and told us to take care of it immediately. The group was confused by the system, which is entirely phone-based. No staff takes your order, you can’t pay at the table, and no one offers help unless you chase them down. What kind of place doesn’t let you order with a server? Not even asked once if we needed anything.

Overall, the attitude of the staff was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional. For $7 a person, you'd be better off buying a game yourself and playing at home, at least you’ll be treated with respect. Disappointing and not worth it.

Had fun. Bring at least 4 people to really have a blast.

Rented the Space room for a game night with the crew. Was awesome! Good food, fun games, and definitely will come back in future!

Great location for gaming with a nice ambience and impressive game collection. The food on the other hand could have come directly from "the medium place" (if you know, you know)

I didn't deduct any stars due to putting the stress on the gaming venue experience and it fully succeeds in that area.

If you love board games and bar food you will feel right at home. This restaurant is run by two people who have a love of board games that transcends a passion. Each time I go, I head to the board game vault. And like a kid in a candy store I get choose any game to play for the game pass cost of 7 dollars. It's a fun place.

This place is an absolute blast. My wife and I stopped in while we were visiting Chicago and really enjoyed our time there. We played a couple of games and, while we didn’t need a teach, it’s very cool that the staff are able to teach the games so you can learn something new if you’d like without needing to read the rule book. Everyone was nice and attentive and we really enjoyed our drinks and snacks. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Snakes & Lattes in Chicago with my girlfriend (my only friend, really—don’t judge), and I have to say, Jason was the highlight of the trip! As someone from London who has also been to the Tucson location, I thought I knew what to expect. But Jason went above and beyond, making us laugh the entire time and bringing a whole new energy to the experience.

The Tucson staff could learn a thing or two from him—sorry, not sorry! While they were great, Jason’s humor and friendliness tipped the scales in Chicago’s favor. He made learning the games genuinely fun, and his personality elevated the entire atmosphere.

If you’re thinking of visiting, do yourself a favor and ask for Jason. He’s hands down the best (and I don’t just mean better than Tucson). Thanks for a fantastic evening!

hidden gem. Thank you to whoever invested in this idea, and brought this place to life. My friends and I created a core memory here last night. Will definitely be returning. 10/10 food and service. Thankful to the game hosts for explaining some difficult games! Thanks for a great time!!!!
