Opentable Diner

Amazing staff. We told them we didn't have much time and they made sure to get us served and out the door in only 20 minutes- amazing!

We made a reservation in advance to make sure we could get a table, only when we showed up no tables were available and the hostess was extremely rude. They wouldn't even allow us to wait for a table by the hostess stand and told us to leave and come back. It's a beautiful location but not the only one along the river.

The food at the Brewhouse was ok - as to be expected. Nothing fancy, nothing great, just good food. The service was very slow and they were not that busy. Very unfortunate.

Nice casual place directly on the river. Great location, except for the noise from the bridge repair.

We had friends visiting from out of state and wanted to give them a taste of Chicago - Chicago Brewhouse on the Riverwalk was perfect! The choices of food that was strictly Chicago, like Mr Beef (The Bear) or Chicago style dogs. Being on the river was perfect people watching, boats, kayaks, music in the background, city noise and energy. I explained in the reservation my purpose for choosing Chicago Brewhouse and requested a riverside table, and when we showed up they had it waiting for us. There was a line of walk up people to be seated, so I made sure to step aside of everyone and let the host know we were waiting in line to check in so they didn't think we were late and potentially give our table away. They sat us immediately. It was Oktoberfest, so we tried some recommended beer. All-in-all they were outstanding in food and service, and I feel I made the perfect choice where to dine to give our guests an introduction to Chicago.

Hostess had us worried at the start, but we got a great table one row off from The Riverwalk. Waitress was exceptional! Food was very good and a reasonable drink menu. Recommend!

i did not get our servers name but she was fantastic. She had red hair and was very personable and kind

Italian beef sandwich and Greek Town gyro tacos were delicious. Nice selection of craft beers. Great ambiance and good place to people watch.

Decent place with nice view, but more than half of the beers on tap were not available and limited options on cans, which doesn't really go for a brewhouse.

While no one can complain about the view and the food is good, everything is served on paper and in plastic. They don't give you water, instead sell you a plastic bottle of it for $3.50 each. And for being such a progressive, environmental town, dumping another piece of plastic into a landfill seems criminal. The cost I quoted included one $16 cocktail (price not terrible but, again, plastic throwaway-- tacky) and the $7 worth of water. The meal prices were fine.

Great location, food and service were average. Paid $20 for basically an Arby’s roast beef sandwich and the rest of our food was pretty average as well. Can’t see going back
