Ilayna C. & team were phenomenal!! We ordered a feast of appetizers before our steaks were served. Everything was great and cooked perfectly. The steaks were outstanding and temperatures were also perfect. Appetizers were Rockefeller oysters, eastern shore raw oysters, burrata, caesar salad and bone marrow. Perfect birthday dinner for my friend and I. Oh the old fashioned's from the bar were also well done.

Chop House really impressed us. Excellent Steaks (prime rib, Ribeye, Mac & cheese). It was our first time visiting from Arizona & wanted to try something local. Chop house exceeded our expectations, all personnel went above & beyond with service & explaining menu options. Our waitress was awesome my kids loved how nice she was. (Forgot her name :( Carlos was also really nice & kind to us. I definitely recommend.

If you are here, request Gabriel! He knows all the Chicago history, Chicago chophouse stories, and has the best suggestions on the menu drinks and food! Even if you don’t get Gabriel, the entire staff is friendly. The staff is very respectful of your dining experience but also consistent with check-ins.Parking: Use SpotHero!! Very easy to scheduleparking if you are wanting a reservation orjust an easy way around the Chicago chaosIf we didn't have spot hero, we would havemissed this place.

I don't write post often but felt obliged to based on several recent post talking about security . I was at the Dylan Gossett show last week with my husband and 2 friends of ours. We had an issue with a drunk person who kept bumping into me and my husband. Security must have seen it because they stepped in before we even could wave them over. They were nice and escorted the drunk guy away from our group. After the show I spoke with a gentleman who said he was the security manager. My husband and I thanked him for handling the issue so well.This was our first time here and we thought the entire staff was great! We hope to be back soon.

Good afternoon, I & my wife, had a do-over from Valentine it wasn't good, but I got a call from Emma who is the Manager there. She was a wonderful person very understanding of my needs. So, let's get to the night we had as soon as we got to the table, they had little hearts on the table because our first visit was on Valentine's our waiter Ilayna was wonderful was amazing letting us know everything about the menu, she a keeper, we order the ribeye steaks my wife was well-done mine Medium well came out perfect. Overall, we had a wonderful time & we will be back soon!!!

Online reservation was very easy to make. The young lady that answered the phone when I inquired about the dress code & parking was very professional & friendly.The wait staff was about what you would expect for a place like this.I loved the bread, but restrained myself to only 2 slices, as I wanted to have room for the rest of my meal.My Caesar salad was huge! I wish that they had a salad half of that size.My 12oz Prime Rip, was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. No additional condiments were need except the typical horseradish sauce. Having freshly grated horseradish would have been point on.The garlic mashed potatoes wasn't a hit with me. A Potatoes Au Gratin or Delmonico Potatoes would be a great supporting side dish for the Prime Rib.This meal was a personal treat on my vacation as it has been on my bucket list for quite some time.

First time at the Chicago ChopHouse and we will be back. A great Old School institution the way steakhouses should be. Recommend steak black and blue with a good pour of Angels’ Envy on the side. Generous portions portions. Service was led by Gabriel - he knows his stuff. Do not be fooled by his modern cool glasses, he knows how meals of yesteryear should be served. Bravo.
