We eat here every time we are in town! No prime rib available tonight but no problem… the steaks were amazing and the service was phenomenal as usual! Hands down the best steakhouse in all of our travels! The Holy Grail of Prime Rib is incredible. Get there early though or you’ll miss out. This is a MUST HAVE if in Chicago!

Dear Prospective Customer,From what I've read so far regarding Chicago Cut Steakhouse service and food is consistently bad. I am so glad the young lady at the front door cancelled my reservation because of her impression of me and my date. Thank you for saving our money, time and the headache! Chicago is full of way better steakhouses than Chicago Cut Steakhouse. This place should close to the public and become member only if they want to be exclusive, provide bad service and serve bad food. I don't ever have to eat at Chicago Cut Steakhouse.

Can't recommend this restaurant at all due to the quality of the food. We ordered two Medium Well steaks but got medium rare. When we asked the waiter to warm up our steak the 2nd time, he said to warm it at home.

Great place. Tough to find the ones that can do “blue” steaks correctly and not overcook them…definitely delivered on that!

Wow the food was great. We loved the service. First time in Chicago and that was incredible. The steak was so tender, most and delicious , nice pink middle. We had Brussel sprouts and hash with jalapeños and cheddar it was good. The lamb chop app was cook perfect. My drink wasn’t too good send it back received another one. Yes it was strong I felt it after my first couple of sips. Enjoy everything.

Absolutely amazing place for dinner. Amazing view, it was lovely to have the city night skyline in our back drop as we ate and my kid could see the beauty of the lights of the city.

If I could give the restaurant a million stars, I would. The best restaurant in Chicago!. The waiter (Joe) went above and beyond. He made my family feel special. Loved the service. I am definitely coming back!

Excellent steak and overall experience here especially when compared to Gibsons the day before. Mon 6pm reso, wasnt busy which allowed us a window seat. Water view was ok, not as high up as I thought for some reason.Service was excellent, they allowed us plenty of time as we were talking. Oysters and crab cake were very good.Steaks were amazing, two signature ribeyes and one delmonico w/ cajun spice. Would definitely order all again.Steaks are always the most important but atmosphere here was more higher end, white tablecloth, less jammed in. Highly recommend.

Chicago Cut exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high. I had heard great things about this place and was happy to get to experience them myself. The overall ambiance was a nice balance of white tablecloth service yet still approachable. One thing of note is that the tables are quite close together. It was a busy Saturday night, and the room was buzzing. A couple times someone bumped into the chair or table, but it didn't cause too much of a disturbance; just noticeably felt the space was a little tight. The service from the beginning was impressive. Knowledgeable, kind, and professional throughout. The cocktails and wine were both delicious. The food was coursed out perfectly and delectable. For starters, the lobstercargot is a must! Read lots of reviews that noted it and they weren't wrong. 6 pieces total so it's perfect for sharing and a great way to kick off the meal. 1/2 dozen west coast oysters paired well with that. For the main courses, medium rare filet and the Chilean sea bass. Both were enjoyable, but the sea bass was actually the standout. Best sea bass I've tried. Not pictured were the whipped potatoes which was a great side to both the steak and fish, and chocolate ganache cake for dessert. Located on the river, the city views are worthy of noting as well. Overall a wonderful experience and would love to go back and try more!
