Good food and service I like everything on the menu except the steak not that it's nasty I just don't like sweet steak other than that it's a great place.

The burger and bbq came from somewhere else 😅 The sandwich was great, nicely made and seasoned, the fries were so good, I'd go back just for that. Then I got black walnut ice cream, it was delicious, the walnuts were regular sized opposed to them being chopped. Customer service was a 10, I appreciate when the older generations continue to work in restaurants that have been around for forever.

The Chicago Hoagie House doesn't have much in terms of atmosphere, because it's small. I've ordered the white breast hoagie and the steak hoagie. Both are good, but there's too much bread. The steak sandwich isn't as good. It's a bit fatty. You find yourself spitting out the fat. The last time that I was there was yesterday. The customer service is very good. It's fairly expensive as well. One the whole, l recommend this spot.

Chicago hoagy house can do better, I tried the steak hoagy, regular hoagy and fries with sweet sauce. The regular hoagy was good, however, the fries was too soggy to taste any flavor, the steak hoagy was again too soggy . The Chicago hoagy house need to invest in better packaging we live a distance away from the location as we ordered on line like others do, so for us Chicago hoagy house is an easy NO!

Warning: Just Take some extra time and maybe a few extra dollars and plan a trip to Home of the Hoagy that’s the only way you will have a enjoyable meal that is the original and not a cheap disrespectful attempt at competition or anything near a comparison. The staff has a misunderstanding of what quality customer service is as well as quality food prep & service. The pics speak for themselves. I also have a 5 min video of the woman who wouldn’t spare her pride and allow the business to make money! Fortunately after the police were called and she saw I didn’t run. ( because no crime was committed) the man in the back realizes they ( the cashier) may have messed up and he came to take my order. All this after I paid for Uber Eats to deliver my food & had to drive to the restaurant! I spent over $39 and will never spend another penny here again! The fries were cold and half done, the steak sandwich had grissle and unmelted cheese the Turkey sub was indescribable and just not right! 1 star because that’s the only way I can leave a review!

We were grossly over charged through UBER EATS!! This place charged 12.00 extra once order was placed. The food was not good. Wet and messy.
