When do you plan on reopening? You quickly became one of my favorite local sandwich places, and I miss the fried pickles!

I am so upset that they have closed. I would argue these were some of the best breakfast sandwiches in Chicago. The Avondale neighborhood is very sad to see them go. Hopefully it is temporary.

Clean, pleasant, and easy: the food is delicious and reasonably-priced; the selection of options is widely varied and it's all excellent; and the place is open until 11:00 PM, which makes my heart happy. One of the best sandwich shops the city has to offer.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered two sandwiches late night on a Friday and was amazed at how delicious both sandwiches were. Plus the employees are suuuper nice. Highly recommended!!!

Stopped by Chicago Pickle Eatery in Avondale for lunch. Ordered the Chopped Cheese Hot Sub and a side of Fried Pickle Spears. The chopped cheese was hearty and flavorful, reminiscent of NYC delis. The fried pickles were crispy but a bit on the greasy side. Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere had a casual, deli-style vibe. Overall, a solid spot for comfort food with East Coast flair.

Grabbed a turkey sub from Chicago Pickle today and it was awesome! Super fresh lettuce, tomato, and red onion, plus the giardiniera gave it that perfect Chicago kick. The turkey, Swiss, and mustard all came together perfectly. Definitely one of my new favorite spots for a sandwich in the neighborhood.

Arrived at 9:15am to find nobody inside and a guy waiting for the cook to actually make his food. Stood around for 5 min waiting to place an order and still nobody came out. Prices shot way up too. Used to be 11.99 for a large sub, now 17.99. Not worth it!
