I was so excited to try this place with a 4.9 rating as I was in the mood for great tacos...Al pastor is my favorite, but I didn't care for them here at all..😔.Atleast my husband enjoyed his burrito...Carne asada was a better choice. Customer service was definitely a 4.9.

Okay.. please don’t hate me, lol.
I really only came here b/c I was looking for food considering I was nearby.
The MAIN thing that stood out to be about this place when researching what that it has SOO many tremendous reviews. I love Mexican food. It’s was a no brainer.
I went in, the woman behind the counter was very very nice. We actually had a conversation about the reviews, the business and the menu. That was very helpful, very very nice. 10/10 on the conversation.
I ended up getting a taco dinner (3 tacos with rice and bean) and I also got a large horchata.
She said i was able to get three different meats (and that is VERY BIG) as we know most restaurants don’t want to accommodate people in that way, so I was extremely excited about that. I ended up getting steak, chicken and birria. I paid $22.05.
Overall, the food was not the best. The steak had a ton of flavor, however the steak was cooked down so much it was extreme dry and chewy. It took me nearly 7 mins to stop chewing the first bite well enough for me to swallow, I was quite disappointed. 5/10 and that’s just for flavor.
The chicken- although It had a nice charred flavor to it- just like the steak it was cooked way way too long. The chicken was dry- although i can honestly say all of the chicken was not that way, but majority of it was-way more than I like for paying $22 for food. 4/10
The birria taco was just dumped on the tortilla. There was a ton of meat on it. I think it probably would’ve have been better with cheese and some type of sauce to go with all that meat for a smoother taste. 2/10
None of the tacos came with cheese. It probably would have helped with the dryness but hey I will never know. I did have green and red sauce, it helped but it didn’t couldn’t cover up how dry the meat was.
The rice - it’s was okay, not the best. Kinda grainy
The beans-🙄 would not recommend.
Sides 2/10
Horchata 5/10 … you’ll need a ton of ice, it’s extremely thick and milky but had good flavor. The best part about this was watering it down a bit.. or a lot of bit lol
I went to eat in the car and realized she didn’t give me a fork or any napkins so i went the 6 minutes to my destination and ate there. The food was not sitting long. Everything was still warm when I ate it. However everything was not up to the standard in which I thought it was going to be based on the reviews here.
Overall, the best thing about this place- in MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE- the conversation.
I hate spending my money on food and it’s not worth it. I could’ve came back up north and got 8/9 very very good tacos for the $22 I’ve spent here. Highly HIGHLY disappointed.
My son even tried the different meats and it also took him quite a while to chew and get it down as well.
I wish I’d taken pictures.
I honestly tossed out the rice and beans- we tried.
And ate what we could of the tacos.

Very nice family run spot!
The birria tacos were around $18 and they were very good. My only complaint is that the meat itself could have had more flavor, I think it was not properly salted. But it was cheesy, meaty, and crunchy. They gave me a ton of consume, too much. That didn’t have as much flavor as I would have wanted either, and salt would have helped. But you could just add salt and everything would be 2x as good.
The rice and beans were pretty good.
Also, the salsas that they have are unfortunately not to my taste. They are very spicy, and I love a spicy salsa, but they lack balance and are very one note. They are spicy without any depth or acidity. You may like this kind of salsa.
But the family was very nice and the food was all very good depending on your tastes. Very high quality and I will be coming back again.

This was my first time visiting the market/restaurant. The food was flavorful, fresh, hot, and plentiful. My husband and I ordered the nachos half chicken, half beef with all the fixings. We also ordered a steak burrito dinner for my nephew and he enjoyed it. Awesome customer service! The employees were very nice. Overall, I had a great experience. I will definitely be returning.

I’m glad I tried the food here! I got the birria tacos and it comes with conzume, rice, and beans. The beans were decent, the rice was plain but pairs nicely with the plate. The tacos were good except for that my tacos had lots of little fat, but it had much more meat than fat. I would like to keep trying more food from here. Side note: the birria was or around $20 when I went.
I would rate this a 4.5. I ordered the taco dinner which was three different tacos with rice and beans. They give a ton of food and I loved the steak taco and carnitas. They were seasoned well and the meat was good. My chicken taco was a bit dry and lacked sauce. I also thought the rice was quite average.
But the owner is super sweet and their prices can’t be beat for how much they serve.

I originally gave them a chance because I wanted to spend time with my younger brother, the man and woman there impressed me with how good the food was and how nice they were.
The Cook is fast and the food does not miss,
The drinks are sweet no details were skimped on.
All that said the place is a good mom and pop shop with spicy del pico, tasty steak tacos, and refreshing drinks.
An all around good Chipotle shop. will for sure be returning!
