My boyfriend surprised with custom cake for my birthday and it was the MOST PERFECT GLUTEN FREE CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! He got my favorite bubble tea flavor combination, taro and oreo!! I never thought I would have a cake with taro and it was incredible.
Stopped into Chicago Sugar Daddy in Lakeview yesterday—grabbed a ube sylvanna, a Carmelita bar and a double chocolate chip cookie. Staff were super chill, even offered a cake sample—felt like they really cared. Pastries were legit fresh and rich. Cozy spot with good vibes—definitely a neighborhood must‑visit!
Daddy is where it is at. Chef Daddy James was a pleasure to work with for having baked goods and our wedding cake provided for our wedding in August 2024. Everyone who attended LOVED Sugar Daddy's treats. The Sylvanas, Uber Scones, Pandan cakes, and Cupcakes are just some of the goods this places provides.
