Chicago's Chicken Coop 87th Street

I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Not only was the food fresh and good but the service was outstanding. The young lady at the counter was so nice. Most of the time when you go to chicken spots they have attitudes and rush you while ordering. I never take it too personally but still. Even when she left for break , the cook came to take over and his attitude was great as well.

Wont be going back ever. I feel like I wasted money. Not good chicken! The wings were not tender, undercooked and over seasoned. Never again. $13 for 6 wings.

Chicken was yummy but for some reason it took over an hour for my food. Staff lack customer service skills.

Best fried chicken hands down, the chicken is perfectly seasoned and can be smelled thru the bag as always

We ordered all chicken after seeing an IG post of how delicious it was. I must say I liked it, My daughter loved it, and my niece said it was just ok! They said the lady who provided the customer service was really nice to them (they're teenagers). They spent their own money so of course they said it was a bit pricey. Definitely will go back and order my sauce on the side (they did not scimp out on the mild sauce.) Sorry I haven't patronized this neighborhood establishment sooner! I went back recently and grabbed a shrimp dinner and it was pretty good!

Love love LOVED this place! Me and my Fiancée loved our chicken tender dinners, chicken well seasoned, good fries, and the mild sauce is FIRE. Not only that, but the taffy grapes are like crack they're SO addicting! The banana pudding is to die for! Will come back again!

The restaurant was so clean I thought it was new. I enjoyed the fried chicken. It was crispy and seasoned and you have the option to have it dunked in sauce. The hot sauce is a Louisiana hot sauce, and the mild is like a vinegar BBQ sauce, on the sweeter side. The crinkle fries and onion rings were good. You should take a slice of caramel or lemon cake home with you. The cakes are good. I would eat here again.

Extremely long wait time for wings and catfish dinner! Requested a refund after waiting about 40 minutes for chicken and fish. I have been to a steak house and didn’t have to wait that long. I will not be patronizing this establishment again..

This is my first time here,I must say the chicken is delicious,the fries crispy, coleslaw was good ,the service was great,and my food was piping hot,and the place is clean,I give it a 10!!!!!!!

I'm been coming to y'all for a while now, I LOVE the new-ish look!! I love the girl with the red braids! She makes me wanna keep coming back! I knew that good customer service was not THAT hard!! Keep it up, Sis!!
