Let me start by saying I was blown away last night. My friend said let’s go to Chicago and I was like 2 hours for food no. But we got on the road and made it to the restaurant. From the time we got there service was great. Staff is top notch! The food is amazing every bite of everything I ordered was so good that I cleaned my plates. Chicken seasoned and cooked to my idea of perfection. The waffle was not the star of the show but def a co-star. I had eggs, greens and yams, every single bite was just so good. Food stayed hot the entire time I was dining. I cannot say anything bad worth the drive! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

First thing that hit me when I came in was the music, so good! I was greeted by Marvin, my server who was over the top, perfection! He was attentive, gracious and informative. Then of course is the amazing food, seasoned perfect, and generous portions! I regret not taking pictures. I am ready to go back!!

Omgoodness! We are on our girlfriend trip. And this place was recommended. It's amazing. The staff is so accommodating. So happy and gets it right. The food and fast service is right on point! We love Tesha. Please ask for her!! Thanks from Dallas! Houston! San Diego! Wichita Falls, TX!

I literally just had the best experience. Josilyn was my waistress; super patient, attentive, friendly & to top it off the food was good! The overall service was a 10/10. Thanks to my server I’ll be back for sure!

OMG!! This place made me think I was in my grandma's kitchen! They food was AMAZING!! I could not have gotten any closer to food from home than this place. The atmosphere was nice and service was on point. Just splendid!

In a word disappointed! I like a business that opens on time and staff that's on time. I know things happen but business is business. We were seated at a table that hadn't been clean, which is unusual because anytime I come in to the restaurant it's clean. Ok we were early customers but yet the service felt like we were in peak season and after waiting our food was disappointing. The sauce over the grits the way to thick grits was not good. The waffles were not good. Some were dry others weren't at at all soft and crispy they were chewy just not good. I ordered sweet potatoe pie it clearly wasn't the freshest, so again another disappointment. Usually we visit when we're in town and until today never had a negative experience. Today changed that and I'm truly disappointed.
