We went to Calli for chef Zaragoza. Food did not disappoint! Great Mexican food with an awesome and elegant twist. I'm from Sinaloa and I had never had such pretty aguachile. Drinks were amazing!

Well the food was interesting. The pork tacos where pretty good. The drinks where nice. Server was decent Although I told my server I was allergic to sea food. She till gave me fish eggs in my dish which I was served and eat from. Thank God nothing happen. Would I go again. No I don't have a deal wish.

Wanted to try out this spot. Took a risk since the last spot Sueños was really good. They have a really small menu but the food was delicious we ordered 3 things from the Menu, oysters, hummus and another dish with corn masa and the sauce was delicious. The only complaint I have was that our server forgot to bring us our hummus and she rarely checked in on us. But overall I recommend trying this place.

Unfortunately, it seems like I went on a night when they were short-staffed. Sadly, they didn't have enough servers for peak Friday night dinner so it was a long wait between each drink and each item we ordered. Overall the food was good but the experience, both from the service and the look & feel of the restaurant did not justify the $100 per person bill.

I was looking to try something new and this place was great. I read a review online about their food so I tried several of their dishes and they were all very good and interesting. I really would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to expand their palate with new flavors and combinations.

So underrated! Great experience overall, sat at the chefs counter and watched the experts work their craft. Flavors were robust yet complex. Service was friendly, professional casual. Drinks were fresh and inventive. Gotta go check it out.

Absolutely incredible food! The textures, the depth of flavor, the desserts, the ambience! Get the whole fish, get the sweet potatoes, the aguachile, the sikil p'ak, the oysters, and honestly anything else because I'm sure it'll be incredible. Don't skip the desserts, we tried them all and didn't regret it! I've never had a better pineapple upside down cake!

Great everything. We sat at the kitchen counter and really enjoyed watching the food being cooked and asking questions of the chefs. We definitely want to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Amazing!! We have been wanting to try this spot for awhile and so glad we did. The chef's counter was awesome, and they even brought us out an new dessert they were testing. Music is kind of loud as it competes with fox bar, but food was delicious!! Spicy and balanced. Cannot wait to be back.

Short menu but delicious, well presented food. Try the leche de Tigre! Service was friendly and efficient and we weren't rushed out. We had an early dinner and it was fairly quiet though by the time we left it was extremely noisy.

The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speaking and the lighting was so dark we couldn't read the menu. Our two mains arrived 12 minutes apart and when we queried this we were simply told “that's how it is here” despite never having been informed of this from the outset. We found this really uncomfortable that the chef couldn't have timed the plates correctly so we could share a meal together. There were also a lot of bones in the fish which I couldn't pick out because the room was so dark so I had to try use my phone torch to view my plate! There were also only two wait staff on the whole floor when the restaurant was full. We won't be going back here.

Honestly save your money....They give you two TINY pieces of chips with the guacamole and when you ask for more they charge 5 dollars. We had to BEG for our dishes to be taken away and given our entrees. We needed to try and flag down the serves at ever turn. We were rushed to order and then not attended to at all. Find one of the MANY other amazing restaurants in West Loop to visit. This is NOT it.

Such delicious mole and cocktails, too! Everyone at Calli was so warm and attentive—we had such an enjoyable dinner. The Fox Bar next door is a little loud, and the acoustics aren't ideal for those sensitive to sound, but the food, drinks, service, and aesthetics (beautiful open kitchen and decor) are the ingredients for a great experience.

The food was excellent and unusual. The picante drink I had was the best I have had. I've been looking for the perfect picante drink and Calli has it. The chicken was terrific and the enmoladas had the right amount of spice for my taste. The garnacha, the guacamole and the ensalada César were all delicious. Our only complaint is the server. He was not familiar with the menu, he told us about the special after we had ordered and he was not knowledgeable about it. He sort of hung at the table waiting for us to order and his English is not up to par to work in a restaurant in Chicago.
