I’ve been here several times over the last few years and my family loves their donuts and especially the apple fritters.
I wanted a slice of pizza and decided to try theirs .
I wish I hadn’t. It seemed to be a cheap frozen box pizza only suitable for late night consumption by inebriated college students.
Do go to Chicos and enjoy their donuts but skip the pizza. Your stomach will thank you.

Chico's is a friendly neighborhood donut shop that offer delicious, soft, baked donuts and drinks. I ordered a dozen donuts of various flavors such as Oreo, blueberry, fruity pebbles, s'mores and more. They all were uniquely their own with the same consistency of a soft pillowy donut. I would recommend you try them and see for yourself!
We had a hot chocolate and donut combo. It was delicious and they topped my donut on the spot.

Ran by great, kind people. Everything I’ve had has been delicious—pizza, donuts, bolillos, croissants! The donuts and bolillo sandwiches are my top recommendations. Everything is always so fresh and yummy! Best donuts I’ve had in Chicago and for the best price! Oh and the coffee is fantastic as well, nice and strong like I like it. I highly recommend it to anyone who lives in or is passing through South Chicago, just make sure it’s Saturday or Sunday! You won’t regret it! 😊

I live Downtown but if I’m coming down to South Chicago I get off the train a stop earlier just to have a sandwich or snack on some donuts at Chico’s. The owners are very sweet and the bolillo bread is great

It’s a hole in the wall. Delish donuts and coffees come out, on demand. Hiiiighly recommend!!! The glazed were. Just. Like a beautiful song melted in my mouth. Lots of other options, all tasty. Can’t go wrong. Coffee had wayyyy too much ice. Next time I’ll ask for light ice.
