Chilango's used to be amazing. But they got cheap with their ingredients. Oh well. The nachos used to be amazing, but everything tasted canned and far too salty.

Catering order arrived 30 minutes late and none of the empanadas were labeled so we had no idea which ones contained meat and which were vegetarian. Although requested, they also didn’t include any plates, napkins or cutlery.

Hi friends. The steak nachos are awesome here; they’re r eally tasty and come with an awesome cheese sauce on the side! The chicken and rice, and Nutella and Banana empanadas are delicious too! The horchata is exquisite. HOWEVER, BE WARNED the shrimp tacos only contain 4 actual shrimps!! We ordered two shrimp tacos and both of them only contained 4 tiny shrimps each! Would’ve been the perfect experience if we would’ve gotten more shrimp in our tacos. We hope that this review fuels further addition of shrimps in your future shrimp taco purchases. Thanks for your time.

We've found that many places in Chicago can be pricey, but we were on the lookout for a spot where we could enjoy tacos and burrito bowls in a laid-back atmosphere. That's when we stumbled upon this gem! The music playing here is fantastic, so waiting for my order was anything but boring. The ambiance is incredibly homey, making it a comfortable place to dine. As for the food, the meats are top-notch, and the ingredients in the burrito bowl are fresh and flavorful. Plus, it's an affordable option for a satisfying meal. If you're craving delicious tacos in this neighborhood, definitely give this place a try!

Walked in and sat down at a table. Stayed there waiting for a server for ten minutes to take my order. No one acknowledged me. A line of 10 people walked in. Asked for a menu and the young woman who was working told me she doesn’t take orders at the table. I would have to go after the ten people that just arrived. Told her that this was not clear. She didn’t apologize and shifted blame. Won’t be back. Very poor customer service and the seating situation is not clear.

I was craving some shrimp tacos and came across this place because of all the good reviews. I ordered one shrimp taco, one fish and one steak. The shrimp taco was OK. The fish taco was plain. Then last but not least, the steak taco was super dry that I ended up just throwing it away. Was kind of disappointed because for $5 a Taco I was expecting much more then what I got. Tacos are suppose to make you happy and instead it left me sad and irritated.

This place is a gem, just as it said, Mexican Street Food, wich means you can get tacos, bowls and Burritos, menu is simple but defenetely more than u need to kill that hungry, U can also find empanadas (by litos) smoothies and traditional water flavors (horchata, mango,) as well as the classic corn on a cup or original. The place is nice and clean, and obviously as all Mexican Street Food, music could not be missed!! (please just keep the place clean) it's a self service, n don't forget to tip ?
