Chili's Grill & Bar

I have to start with my own experience but was an observer to many others. UGH I came in on 10/9 at 12:40p change over in staff was obviously 1:00 because 2 of the servers walked the floor huffing and puffing about their count down 21 mins 19 mins and the at 1:01 where are the witches who's here to take over. Telling the hostess Make them wait for five minutes until they get here … ridiculous all they had to do was sit people and let them know the new staff would be there in a few minutes. Make yourself comfortable. Two girls next to me ordered waters from one waitress and food from another and waited to get their check total miscommunication. Yeah, almost walked out without paying. Caroline in front of me ordered a drink the wrong drink came. She didn’t do anything about it then the wrong food came.. due to issues with the QR code menu. The waiter just said you wanted fries I’ll get you fries and walked away from her before she could say anything.
Gratuity is gratitude for service given .. mine was zero. You could make a lot more $$$ as a leader of this franchise, if you think of it from the eyes of the traveler, efficiency, consistency, and friendliness. Good luck ?

Chili's is a perfect example of shrinkflation. I remember when southwestern eggrolls were fairly large; now those suckers are tiny little gas station style eggrolls, and you'll pay 14 dollars for three. They cut them in half so you feel like you got 6, and spread them out on a sad bed of shredded iceberg. I've seldom felt so ripped off in my life. I may never eat at a Chili's again.

We were very tired we flew in from Seattle overnight. While we were sitting waiting for our next flight they opened the restaurant right behind us. We stopped in for breakfast. The food was reasonable but the service was excellent. Our server was working pretty much alone and was very busy. She did an excellent job even though she should have been helped!

I just had the most awful salad I have ever had in my life. It was swimming in water. It was tasteless although it was supposed to be in Southwest salad, it just tasted like lettuce with tortilla chips in it. The soup was so salty I'd hardly eat it. Now I feel nauseated. Horrible.

Absolute pandemonium. RUN FROM HERE. Spend your money somewhere else. The staff consists of THE MOST UNFRIENDLY OF PEOPLE. The bar tender acted like a scared kid when I asked a question. “I just work the bar. I can’t help you.” What? Really?

While flying thru ORD one morning, I stopped in here for lunch. I got there right before 9:30AM, but they switch over from breakfast to lunch at 9:30 and they let me wait at a table and work about 15 mins until the lunch time service started.

The main thing I didn’t like is that they use only QR ordering… So, when you sit down, you need to scan the QR on the table and place your order. The server are really only runners, bringing food that you ordered. Makes it tough for special orders, but I stopped a server to get what I needed.

I tried their Old Timer, as this has been a fav of mine since 1989 and this one was pretty good! Not the best, but still really good. I also ordered their chips & salsa and those were spot on, like they usually are… warm chips and very tasty salsa.

Overall, not a bad visit, definitely worth stopping in!

my server Mary did a great job of getting my apps and drinks me on time making it so that I could finish my thesis before I took a flight back to go back to college, shout out to Mary! your service helped me get into academics. #teammary

Our food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was slammed, but our food came out quickly and perfectly cook. Definitely recommend for families

Food is great, service so and so. 2 young latinas sitting on their phone and are supposed to welcome people and seat them. They don't. The laziest 2 persons I've met. Other than that. Good food fair prices. Its pretty dirty in general.

Employees are understaffed. The server forgot to order our appetizer, and another table told us the only way to get food was to order through the app. We went to the bar to get lemons with my daughter and was refused service. The person I'm assuming was the manager told me to talk to the server. After I told him we haven't seen him (the server) for 10 mins, he waved his hand at me to go away. Later, he brought us lemons and tried to tell me the laws don't allow kids at the bar. . . I looked it up, he was wrong.

Terrible! The biggest rip off ever. I had the chili bowl and sent it back, super salty and didn't look right.

Ordered a Salad.. one of the worst I've ever had, literally the same that you get in a bag at a supermarket.

Slow service etc. Cost was $140 for me and my 3 girls.

That was the biggest waste of money of my whole trip. I'll never visit any other Chili's restaurant again.

I had a tasty meal here, and the service was quick and friendly. Portion sizes are still large compared to other similar concepts. Ample seating available. A good place to eat and relax before a flight
