Called to place an order for pick at 7:45 pm and the representative tells me I won’t make it in time to pick up the food. Mind you they close at 8:30 and I live less then 5 mins away. Worst phone service ever!!!

I'll tell you. I was so stoked to get food from here. great reviews. 0.o How??? How did this place get great reviews??? I ordered a spicy Mongolian beef. This hot plate of garbage was anything but. It was like eating un-seasoned beef that had spice thrown on it at the last second. I had a few bites, trying to figure out how could this place rate so high and be so bad??? Then it hit me. This is a place for the pasty kind of people. The term wow, that's a spicy mayo came to mind. This place is definitely not fat guy approved. The meat itself was cooked correctly but that's literally the only positive thing I could say about the dish. Soy sauce couldn't save it and believe me I tried.Panda express has more flavor than what I got and will definitely not waste my money or time with this place again.

The best Chinese food in town, made by one cook while you wait. This place is a hidden gem. Cash only, do not call in trying to place an order, they don't do all of that. Just order at the counter and wait. Specialist in seafood.

This is not only far and away the best Chinese I've had in Chi-Town but Chef Q is a legendary proprietor.Where else in 2021 do you get the owner calculating your bill long hand with a pencil, making your food before your eyes with deft precision, and hobnobbing with you with effortless humor and grace throughout?It doesn't exist anymore. Except here.Then there is this. Most places nowadays serve you too little food for too much money. China Express and Chef Q give you too much food for too little money. His PFR serving for 8 freaking fifty was just my work lunch for three days this week after I ate it the night I ordered too.The egg rolls are the best I've ever had. The Orange Chicken and Beef are straight fire. The Shrimp and Cashew Nut is classic.It's all great. I love this place. 10 stars.
