Very disappointed. The dish I ordered looked completely different from the menu, and was so bland it was nearly inedible, and I believe one of the ingredients used may have been past date as their was an unusual odor to the dish itself that I’ve never experienced while ordering from other similar places.

We recently did take out at China Gourmet and loved the experience! We called for take out super close to closing and they were gracious enough to accept our order.
The food itself was absolutely excellent. My partner says “best lo mein I’ve had since coming to Chicago!” The meat for every dish was super tender and well seasoned. Veggies in the lo mein were a little under cooked but considering how late we called, the food was amazing!
We will definitely be coming back!

Food doesn't have to be expensive to taste good! I thought i would spin the block on this place one more time. Nope.... food is still soooo mediocre and made for those who care more about quantity than quality. All meat is soaked in starch, so the texture is slimy!! Chicken wings are veiny, large, and strong! Only thing good is the white steamed rice and the won ton soup is surprisingly good. Tastes fresh

If I could give them 0 stars I would!!!! I’ve made a huge order from them to feed me and family. I tipped them really good and then I found hair in my food so I called the restaurant and they sent me a new one. I found hair in the next bowl as well!!! Truly disgusted and I will never be ordering from this place again! Their reviews are horrible, people find roaches and hair in their food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
