Easily the best bakery in Chinatown. So tasty and worth more than its value. Just bring cash with you! I’ve gone too many times and never taken photos, it’s all about enjoying it in the moment.

It was my first time at Chiu Quon Bakery, and I loved it. The pork bun was soft, fluffy, and perfectly savory with a hint of sweetness. Then I tried a “salt egg thingy” — a delightful surprise with its rich, salty yolk inside. I won’t be back only because I don’t live in Chicago!

They have excellent buns. I always try to go and grab a bun or 2 every chance I get.

Chocolate chip cookie definitely was stale but the milk bread was on point. Typical attitude when purchasing/selecting items, but not a big deal to me.

Sent my brother out to purchase a mixed fruit cake for our mother's birthday. Fruit was terrible and moldy. This is not the first time we buy from this bakery.... very disappointed.

Always amazing and consistent quality here. They are cash only but there is an ATM inside. Our favorites are the strawberry sponge cake and the egg tarts. They also have a variety of frozen buns that are really good to steam or even air fry at home.

I’m late giving this review. However, I just love the red bean buns I got from here during the fest. They’re the right size, perfect amount of sweetness, and paired well with my peppermint tea/coffee. Just wish I had bought more, which I will soon be rectifying this weekend

This place lives up to the hype! I saw this place on Eater and was missing the soft pillowy pork buns back home (because our best Chinese bakery closed down) so I got a bunch here. Their pork buns are so good. They're even better than the ones from the bakery back home! Next time I'm in Chicago, I'm going to bring a suitcase so that I can bring some home!
