A fantastic oasis for real chai in the Loop.
The place is a little cramped. But, on a cold evening, masala chai and samosa! Will give anything for it!

My food was prepared very efficiently. I got the samosa chaat. Big flavor, nice and spicy. The spices and citrus balanced the dish perfectly. My server Shanu helped me decide what to get, since I'm a little unfamiliar with this chaat. Their desserts (the one with cottage cheese) and chai are great too. Would recommend to anyone!

Shanu is the absolute best chai chef in the world. His ability to create any tea you want depending on your unique wants and preferences is unmatched. I will come back to Chicago for Shanu's tea. If Shanu moves away from Chicago, I will go wherever he is for his tea. Hands down, Shanu makes THE best samosas and tea in all of the United States.

I ordered the Masala Hot Chai (Tea), and although it took about 15 minutes to arrive, it was worth the wait. The place tends to get crowded, and seating is limited, so be prepared. If you're a chai lover, it's a great spot to explore a variety of unique and flavorful chai options. However, if you're looking for traditional Indian-style chai, this might not be exactly what you're expecting

Love it here! Kind and patient employees who helped me make an informed choice about the options. They let me know there's some sugar in them and that I could order it without if I wanted. Small menu but so much to choose from. I got the Mumbai extra chai with ginger and no sugar and it was incredible. My partner got maple pecan and his wasn't even that sweet but definitely could tell the difference in the tea base for each drink. Adored the art on the walls and the cleanliness of the place, easy to hear the clerks because there was no loud overhead music. Will come back ! Thank you friends!

Misleading Chaat dishes, they don’t taste like Indian chaats nor they have the correct ingredients in the chaats. There specialty which is Chai is not up-to the mark, and all flavors tastes same
