Owner was chill, vibing with customers while cooking was a bit slow since they were busy. Definitely solid chicken that’ll pull me back, even if it’s not top‑tier.

Yo, if you're cruising through the Loop and craving some bomb fried chicken, you gotta hit up CHKN Box. This spot's got that hip-hop vibe, and the chicken? Straight fire. I grabbed the 6-piece wings with that Hot Honey sauce, and those tenders were on another level. Service was mad quick, and the folks running the truck are chill. Food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The chicken wings are flavorful inside and out. The hot honey sauce is to die for. I literally have only great things to say about this place. The staff were pleasantly nice and the cook helped me decide on best options for me based on my palate. Overall, I highly recommend Chkn Box! Can’t wait for more locations around Chicago.
