Hit up Chocolat Uzma in Pilsen last weekend and it was magic. Snagged a 6‑piece Exotic box packed with Kala Namak caramel, chai, passion fruit flavors, plus a luxe nut bark and hot sipping chocolate. Each bonbon tasted handcrafted, bold, and got me talking. Staff were chill and let me sample a few. Definitely a Chi‑town gem—one of the best craft chocolate spots in the city.
I was excited to try and support a small business. However the service was very mediocre and when I asked about the chocolate and the flavors it seemed like the person wasn't excited about anything. With the prices, 4 chocolates for $12 I kinda was hoping for something more. There are so many chocolate places in Chicago and customer service is so important if it's going to be expensive. I also felt like there was a lot of milk chocolate and very little textures which...
